I dont ususlly do this but hey, i feel compelled to share my experiece. So, it was 2 days before Valentine's day and I had no clue as to what to do for my wife. So I decided to hire a personal chef. Nate was very accommodating and very easy to deal with. We spoke via text message and came up with a menu that I knew my wife and kids would be comfortable with. Nate and his assistant showed up at the time they said they would and got to work right away. Everything was EXCELLENT!!! I will definitely be calling Nate again for future events. I also made sure I got some business cards to share the experience with my friends and family. Thank you guys for your professionalism. See you again soon
Chef Michel put together a wonderful buffet meal for my mother's 80th birthday party. The food was excellent, the service was professional and Chef Michel was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him for any catered event you are planning.
I hired Chef Plum as a personal chef for a one time dinner for two. He was extremely easy to work with. He has a wonderful personality and took the time to explain all of the different dishes as he prepared them. The food was beyond delicious. We both agreed it was one of the best meals we ever had. I look forward to working with Chef Plum again in the near future.
My wife and I eloped in Paris, and were looking to plan a reception for friends and family with a French theme. After trading a few messages on Thumbtack, Laura came to our home with a selection of French appetizers. With only a few suggestions from us, Laura did some research and prepared a few French dishes for a tasting while we discussing a plan for the party. We talked menu, logistics and pricing while tasting Laura's fantastic creations. We went with Laura because she shared our enthusiasm for the French theme and because she has a great attention to detail. Since we didn't plan our reception before eloping, we only had a few weeks to put everything together. Laura was instrumental in helping us plan our party for ~140 guests on such short notice. She immediately put us in touch with a rental company and prepared a list of necessary items for us to order. Laura and her staff showed up ~2 hours before the start of cocktail hour. They set up all of the tables according to our floor plan and stocked three full bars. Because of her planning and her helpful, organized and polite staff, cocktail hour and dinner went off without a hitch. The guests raved about Laura's French appetizers, entrees and desserts. After supervising the food preparation throughout the night, Laura herself came out to the dessert station to make crepes hot-to-order for our guests. This was such a nice added touch and really highlights Laura's dedication to her craft. I have full confidence that Laura can prepare any menu and any dish. She is a talented chef and, with her staff, she runs a flawless party. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her for any event, and I'd especially recommend Laura if you have something specific in mind.
Gordon is an extremely creative and innately talented chef. Since becoming aware of a severe gluten sensitivity, I have been eating healthy at home thanks to him-I am happy to say no more restaurants for me! When planning my meals, Gordon is very attentive to my requests. His patients and versatility keep even gluten free food interesting and tasty. I have noticed that he uses only fresh ingredients and takes pride in using them to create and present an incredibly delicious gluten free meal every time. It is apparent that he loves seeing people enjoy his food. Though I am amazed at how easily Gordon has been able to adapt my favorite dishes to a gluten free alternative, I am most delighted with the yummy and elaborate desserts that one would never guess are GF! If you or a family member have dietary restrictions (and even if you don't) there's no doubt that you will want Gordon to be your personal chef! We were so happy to have chosen Chef Anne to cater our Mom's 90th Birthday Party. From my first conversation with her to follow up email she was helpful professional and provided first rate service. Chef Anne made recommendations as well as guided me thru selecting Glueten Free etc type dietary concerns. I felt like Ive known her for years as she is so easy to work with, now I have a friend in the catering business. We had many positive comments how delicious everything was and I would recommend her and will be happy to call her again.
Let my start by saying we have used Gina and her staff on many occasions at our home on the East End as well as in Manhattan. I can guarantee you that the service and quality is outstanding. When our office of 140 people moved to White Plains, NY we were on a mission for a new catering service that would accommodate our executives and associates. Chef was great to work with. Brought me and my wife great suggestions. It felt like a team effort when trying to create a menu for our anniversary party. He was at our home early to get started. He had consideration with our space, when he was done, everything was left back to the way it was. He made our guests feel like they were at 5 star restaurant. Definitely recommend!

I hired Chef Art for a 50th surprise birthday party for my husband and I never regret making the choice. Ive had a bad experience with catering services before and was secptic of hiring another service, but the Food was amazing along with is hospitable staff and is light sense of humor for the first phone call I knew id made the right chioce, I hired him for all my events since and he never fails!!!

I have had the fortune for having meals prepared by The Shoreline Chef several times. I can attest to his friendliness, efficiency, and the food was absolutely delicious. His presentation is beautiful, and the wines he suggested the hosts serve was perfect! When you have Larry do your next dinner party, make sure you ask him to serve his Hot Eggplant Salad on the antipasto bar- it is my favorite! Yum! But regardless of what you choose to be served, rest assured that the food, presentation, and interaction with guests will be top-notch. Chef Larry is the best!
