My personal trainer Takenya, was hired to help me get in shape. Not from a lose weight prospective, but from a health prospective. I'm in my 50's and realized I couldn't live a long healthy life, without my core, muscles, and hips being strengthened. My trainers help wasn't one dimensional, she worked with my mind, body and soul. She helped me to have the right mindset when it came to my health and that looking good and feeling great, didn't come from the outside, but from the inside. I feel stronger, confident and excited about preparing my body to go the distance. I would highly recommend Four Friends Fitness.
I was a little skeptical at first with who I should go with as my personal trainer on thumbtack. Halston didn't have many hires and very many reviews on thumbtack, but he explained to me that he was new to the thumbtack app but not new to personal training; he's been a trainer 8 years. I've had multiple trainers in the past around the Jacksonville area and halfway through our fitness assessment I realized that Halston's knowledge and education is above any other trainer I've had in the past. We've only been training for a short time but I've already learned more from him in that short amount of time that I have with all my other trainers in the past combined. The workouts are amazing and I leave feeling like I accomplished something great and not like I was beaten down for 30 minutes to an hour like I was with my other trainers. He rocks and he definitely really cares about me and seeing me reach my goals. I highly recommend him and he's worth far more than his rates.

For mothers day a gift to myself was to get a personal trainer to start workiworking out and feeling good about myself. Christina was absolutely amazing. We Sat and went over my fitness goals. Anthony is a very professional personal trainer. I've had the pleasure of him training me several times and each time goals were being reached. Anthony takes his time to listen to my goals and what it is that I want to achieve. He explains the course of action that is best for me and my goals, explains each exercise and makes sure that I'm preforming them right along with making sure I use the equipment correct too. Anthony is a no nonsense type of trainer if I have questions and he doesn't have a answer right away he researches and get back with me in a timely fashion. David is very knowledgeable and skilled at preparing a program that fits your training needs. But more importantly he is personable and fun and motivates you because he truly cares about you and your goals. I have had personal trainers before but David is the best one I have had.
Tony Beers has been my personal trainer for over 8 years. I work out with Tony at the gym 2-5 times a week. Tony is well trained, a listener, honest, straight forward, and caring individual. he designs workout programs and healthy habits (diet, sleep, attitude) based on an individual's needs. He will help you set your goals and attain them. Over time and with age my workouts have changed but I have maintained my health in spite of aging. I highly recommend Tony with no reservations. Grif is the best trainer I've ever worked with! He is always on time, prepared and enthusiastic. He is constantly coming up with new ideas. He is an excellent coach who pushes his clients to the best of their ability while keeping them safe and free of injury. I worked with Grif for four years and saw increased muscle mass, strength and functionality. He is the best around. Period.
Caleb has trained me in boxing for the last few months and the results have been very good. I am now in great shape and legitmately have learned the basics and some of boxing. Caleb is an actual fighter who has 10 bouts so far. I would definitely recommend training with him. He is a really good trainer and very personable.
