I've been training with Garrett for a while now and can't even begin to say how much it's done for me. It's one thing to wake up and work out, but it's a completely different type of work out when you're training multiple muscle groups at once, taking preventive maintenance steps to prevent injuries, and learning about how your body works and grows to its maximum potential- all in an hour and a half max. I've gained not only height on my vertical but also valuable knowledge on how to be the best athlete I can be. Can only say good things about the training I've received!
Jenny and Chris are both great trainers and super motivating. The sessions are always challenging but also very positive. I always leave feeling better about myself and I've seen weight loss results - can't ask for anything else!
Jane and Matt are both great to work with. We alternate between both because they both have different personalities as well as workouts and it's great to mix it up and keep it fresh. Gentle intensity (GI) is right on. We are entering our third month with them - and still loving the workouts and the results. Highly recommend them.
Having only just started, I am already impressed with the caliber of workouts I have received as well as the reasoning behind every workout. Alex uses quantitative measures to track success and equip you with the tools necessary to control your outcomes. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to jump start their fitness routine or learn new techniques to achieve success.
Jonny is one of the best trainers I have worked with. He warms me up with cardio on the treadmill for 2 minutes, then we get the blood flowing with jumping jacks, high knees, squat jumps and pushups. Then we stretch and go to work. If it is a chest and tricep day we would do circuits of 3-4 exercises. A sample would be skull crushers to dumb-bell chest press to rope tricep extension to finishing with either pushups or dips to failure. 3 sets with 10-12 reps on each exercise and you do all four exercises in one set. Jonny always explains how to correctly do the exercises and is with me checking my form. He wants me to push myself, but isn't like a drill sergeant. He is like your buddy making sure I do my best. Always smiling and giving me high fives or patting me on the back when he sees I am doing well. Makes sure I have my water bottle filled. Sometimes if it is getting low he will offer to refill it for me as I finish my current exercise. Jonny cares about his clients. After we lift he stretches me out. Then he high fives me, tells me "nice job today"and we set up for our next session. You rock Jonny!
Dave has to be the most professional personal trainer I've ever worked with. Being someone out of shape in my 40's I was hesitant to jump into a plan that might sideline me quickly due to overexertion, but Dave was extremely conscientious of my well-being and worked up a plan I could ease into...as well as see quick results with. Additionally, his knowledge of fitness goes beyond that of other trainers I've worked with...much more of an educated and long-term health perspective. The combination of being personable, knowledgable and professional has been a welcome change. Almost 2 years later I'm still working with Dave and continue to reap the benefits of strength, flexibility and endurance. Looking forward to continuing training with him, and would highly recommend his services to those who are serious about improving their health.
Reygie is one of the best personal trainers I have ever had. He is such a nice guy, and really knows how to push you through a great work out. He knows how to help you achieve your goal, whether its losing weight, or gaining muscle. Prior to training with Reygie, I was never able to connect with a trainer for more than a few weeks. Now, I am so glad I made the switch to Reactive PEC, and glad I have Reygie as a trainer!
I started receiving advice to jump start my way to healthy living. Coach Carol gave me instructions, i follow them and instant results. For starters I couldn't walk ten steps without stopping to catch my breath. Coach Carol told me to get moving and i did 3minutes at a time (walking and exercising) every week i increased my time by 3 to 5 minutes. Now i can walk and or exercise for 40 minutes. Thanks to God and my coach I will be able to reach my goals. P.s. NO PAIN, NO GAIN
Susan is very supportive and fun to work with. She comes to each session on time and well prepared with a workout for me and my exercise partner. We are at different levels and she is able to modify for each of us. I am thoroughly happy with Susan and would recommend her highly. She also is trained in yoga and we plan to explore sessions in the near future! JM
Nikki is an incredibly gifted personal trainer, for men and women of all ages, sizes, types of fitness, and goals to reach. First she helped with my forms, which needed improved to say the least, to make sure I did things right and did not injure myself. Then we have moved to more difficult, longer, faster, and heavier parts of the work out. She does not yell and scream when clients need help or motivation, like others who claim to be personal trainers do. With Nikki I have made great gains that will only continue. If you care about your health, go with Nikki for training!!
I contacted the GymGuyz because I'm serious about losing weight and getting in shape without having to go to a gym or use a bunch of large equipment. So far I've had 6 sessions and each session has been completely different, I have not repeated any exercises, which is great because I'm getting a full body workout every time, without having to repeat the same exercises. I feel like I am getting the most out of each session, because my trainer pushes me to my potential, something I could not do on my own. I'm doing this for results, and my trainer has designed a workout tailored to the results I want. My trainer is also very knowledgeable about fitness and eating healthy and is passing his knowledge onto me. I'm very happy with my experience, and I would recommend the GymGuyz to anyone who is serious about losing weight or getting in shape.
I found a handful of trainers using thumbtack and spoke to most of them about my goals and what I was looking to accomplish. Ryan stood out to me by actually being responsive to the reasons I was looking for a trainer in our first conversation and provided an outline of how he would help. He didn't jump right in to a sales pitch of 5x a week workouts with chest days and leg days. He didn't push any products or trendy fitness crazes. It was very clear that he has been able to successfully coach people of varying fitness experience, age, and health status because of his uniquely in-depth knowledge that allows flexibility to tailor sessions based on the individual- not a program. I hired Ryan because I wanted a professor of total fitness. Ryan provided nutritional guidance that was rooted in research and years of study. I was able to take away guidelines for structuring my diet to better my overall health- and to understand why and how it works. Ryan also provided unique and challenging workouts each session. He was attentive to technique and to ability. I never felt uncomfortable or like I was being overexerted- but I always left physically exhausted and feeling good. Whether we were using dumbbells or climbing the rope, my safety was in the forefront of his mind so it didn't have to be on my mind at all. Ryan helped me accomplish my goals exactly in the manner in which he said he would in our very first meeting. He is a genuine guy that is in the business of building better humans. He practices what he preaches and provided me a personal experience in which I am greatly appreciative. I benefited from our sessions because of the insight he provided and the passion that came with it. Ryan is a great guy to work with- someone I very highly recommend. Hart Fitness deserves the highest praise, which is why I rate Ryan and his business with 5 stars.
Omar has helped me lose 20 pounds in just three weeks. I lost six pant sizes from a 12 down to a size 6 with all his help. Couldn't of done that without him. I tried going to gyms but that didn't work. I needed his personal one on one training. We would work out for hours. Interval training is what we did. We used trampoline boxing Kung fu and jumping rope. He motivated me. If it wasn't for him I would of still been fat. He's a great personal trainer who only wants the best for you. He encourages you to keep on pushing. I never gave up and he never gave up on me. He's good at what he does. He motivates me.😃
Melody is one of the most kind-hearted, smart and caring person I know. I was her very first client, and I started up with her in May. One of the first things Melody said to me when we started training was that we would never use cardio machines... because you don't need them. I had heard about this before, but never really believed it. You really don't need cardio machines to lose weight. She is teaching me how to lose weight and gain muscle. People get scared with the gain muscle part.. but it's not even For a bulky look... it's for a very toned look. A strong look. That's what I want to be, and she is guiding me and teaching me everything I need to know. I started off squatting literally air in May. Now, in September, I am now squatting 110 pounds. In May I was benching nothing but air. Now I'm benching 90 pounds. I can do box jumps now, and I'm currently working on going to the 3rd highest box. I'm so proud of myself and how far I've come in the past 3 months... and I can't thank Melody enough for not giving up on me when I'm having a bad morning, or if I'm not pushing myself hard enough and she pushes me harder. I am so grateful for her, because that's what I need. I need someone to help me back up when I start to fall, and she does that for me. Thanks Melody for not only being the best trainer, but for being a good friend as well. I love training with Melody, and I can't wait to reach my goals with her by my side!!
Mark is an excellent trainer! I have a neuromuscular disease and was seriously injured in a car accident-- while doctors stressed that I should have no expectation of getting back to my baseline strength, I am stronger today than I was pre-accident thanks to Mark. His custom workouts target all parts of the body and he is constantly coming up with new methods to strengthen muscles. He is creative, caring and just wonderful to work with.
Kenny is an exceptional trainer. He's able to get you to do your best without going too far. The result is you get a meaningful workout without getting hurt. I have changed my body for the better working out with Ken. I've also lost over 30 pounds with his encouragement and diet suggestions. He's very positive and very professional.
I came to Ryan with a request. I wanted a quick and simple workout that I could do at home, that would increase my vertical leaping ability. Ryan came back to me with the "Dane's Flight School" program he put together. He explained to me how to do the workouts in detail and then I set out towards my goal. After the first workout, I knew it must be working because my buns hurt to the point where walking was difficult (I haven't worked out before this - so many leg days skipped) and my groin was on fire. I felt I was on my way to my goal. It has been three weeks since I started and even though there is still a burn after the workouts, I can feel my legs (and butt) getting stronger. I look forward to continuing this program so I can dominate on the bar league sand volleyball courts this summer.
I have trained with Mike for over one year and couldnt be more satisfied with the results. He is polite and professional, caring and attentive, and dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals. He has demonstrated skills in diverse training methods and creates individualized programs for all of us who train with him. Kyle is very knowledgable ( he holds two masters degrees in this area) about how to work out but not injure you. I have several sports related injuries. Kyle still manages to work me hard with out re-injuring me. He listens and adapts the work out to my goals. He is funny and very personable too which is a plus!
