I have taken guitar lessons with Aaron for a few weeks now, and couldn't be happier. I started from scratch wanting to learn and am so happy with the progress! I feel like I'm challenged, but definitely get to learn at my own pace. I'm so glad I started lessons with Aaron, and would highly recommend him as a teacher.

My son had been taking classical guitar lessons for a few years and was bored with his group class. Patrick was a breath of fresh air and was great with our 8 year old. He is very patient and listens to what his student's interests and goals are. Patrick is an excellent teacher and all around great musician himself! I highly recommend him as a guitar instructor for someone of any level!

As a karaoke addict and musical theatre lover, I finally decided I was going to take the plunge into taking singing lessons. I looked around at several options in the St. Louis area, but Shock City was the only place that looked like they knew what they were doing, at a reasonable price. I've been taking lessons for a few weeks now and I'M SO GLAD THAT I CHOSE THEM. From the get-go, Genny was incredibly responsive and thorough in explaining all of my options. I'm a recent college grad that works at a nonprofit, I don't have a ton of money to spend. Genny helped craft a pricing option for me that worked with my budget, and worked with me to find an instructor that was tailored to my specific goals. She led me to find an instructor, Liya, who has been AWESOME. Already on our first meeting, she made me feel comfortable and has brought a fun and playful attitude to our lessons in addition to her vast expertise. They record all of your lessons for you, so that you can review them and practice on your own time, and you can even message your instructor and ask questions through their TeacherZone program. I've already made significant improvements and I'm having a ton of fun! Thanks Shock City for giving me a platform to pursue my dreams!

The Musik Institute is an amazing place! My son takes voice lessons there and has been nothing but excited and impressed. My son also started on the piano with Ms. Chi 8 years ago and was able to stick with it because of her patience and nurturing. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants their child to have a firm understanding and love for music.

My tutor was very flexible with his schedule. It was very easy for us to set up a time and date for the tutoring sessions. He was prepared for the sections I told him I needed help with and was great at explaining concepts I disn't understand from my own professor!

After a brief phone conversation, Matt offered me a opportunity that I couldn't refuse with his in person sessions and online course material. Immediately upon meeting, his professionalism and expertise was evident. He studied my current habits quickly and we addressed some very minor things that needed attention. He also focused on my positives and worked towards excelerating those as well. His session style is very open and his teaching method had me walking away with a new found respect and love for practice. (That's right, I said LOVE for practice) If anything, have a quick phone call with him and sit down for one session. You won't regret it. Cheers to the future!
