I can’t imagine working with a better caterer than Lisa Marie’s Catering. Stay with me here for a minute as I have a lot to say about Lisa and her team. First of all, she’s wonderful to work with, accommodating, punctual and easy to communicate with, plus her food is nothing short of fantastic. I work with caterers around the country as I bounce around hosting events for a national company. Because I plan everything from the West Coast, I need accessible vendors I can count on even if I’m hundreds or thousands of miles from them. Not only is Lisa a true professional, but she also has the patience of a saint. When I was waiting months for a venue to confirm my event date, Lisa worked with me, putting my mind at ease and holding my event date. When I asked her the same questions three times, just to be sure, she confirmed and assured me everything was taken care of – and it was. Her bar manager, Mark, texted me the evening before my party for 200 to ensure all details were taken care of and offering services the morning event if necessary. Even with all of this above-and-beyond customer service, I wasn’t prepared for the day of the event. One of their team members arrived early, quite early. Instead of sitting around and waiting for his team, seeing me setting up, moving tables, etc., he jumped right in and helped until his co-workers arrived and it was time for him to “work.” Everyone involved was all smiles, friendly and efficient. As the event started, I was treated like a guest with both Lisa and Mark checking on me, offering drinks and food. I chose an eclectic mix: ahi tuna bites, antipasta skewers, petite BBQ pork and slaw sandwiches, various crostini and more. Of course, her team’s handcrafted margaritas were a huge hit. Actually, everything was a hit! Although I can’t say enough good things about Lisa Marie’s Catering and every, single person I worked with, I have to get back to work!

We hired Gill for a 5:30pm Gender Reveal party for 35 people. I have to say that trying to find a caterer when organising a wedding from overseas is tough. We were extremely fortunate that it was Toni who responded to our request. Bad experience. We deposited 50% of our total charges for catering services on Oct. 27, as we scheduled for tasting session. The tasting was set for Oct.12 @2;pm. He never showed up and called him and was out of town. Reset the schedule to Oct.19 and called him several times and e-mailed (on the 13th) to confirm to assure us that he will show-up on the 19th as to prevent what happened last Oct.12. Got no replies,either e-mail, text, or a call from him for 5 days!!!!. Then suddenly and surprisingly came a reply (text) @ 8:pm the night before the appt..(after 5 days of trying to reach him) he cancelled our contract with him (Chef Howard of Culinary 1 on 1, AZ) for theOct. 27 Birthday event. Thank God it happened this way early cause we lost our trust ( not calling his client or reaching out), what if he will not show up on the day of the event and let us pay the whole amount (Oct.22) 5days before the event? It wil be catastrophe as he doesnt return calls. Was really disappointed. He should have an ettiquet reaching out to his clients.

Throughout our entire experience working with Curtis the word that comes to mind is Professionalism. From the very beginning of the planning process he was easy to communicate with. He's quick to respond to inquiries and breaks things down in an easy to understand way even if you know nothing about catering. He takes great care to understand your needs and ideas, and offers his advice without being pushy and overselling. His attention to detail was flawless and brought to our attention things we wouldn't have ever considered. Onsite, Curtis and his team continued to uphold their professionalism. They were respectful of our home and guests. They brought their own equipment, kept a tidy workspace, and worked very efficiently even in our small kitchen. They were prompt and flexible with the timeline during our event. The food itself was astonishing. Each dish was carefully plated and beautiful; they even brought their own dishware to compliment the presentation of each dish. Every single guest was consistently impressed with the well-balanced flavors cooked to perfection. The creativity of each dish simultaneously complemented the next while standing uniquely on its own. Curtis gave a brief introduction to each dish as it was hand presented to our table, once again demonstrating his excellent communication skill. He even threw in a very fun, interactive and innovative surprise between one of the courses (but I won't ruin the surprise). The meal was impeccable. Something you'd pay BIG money for at a 5 star restaurant. At the end of the event, they left our kitchen clean took care not to disturb the event while they were loading out their equipment. The price was very fair and well worth it. 10/10 will recommend! We can't wait for our next event and will definitely keep Curtis at the top of our list!
