My technician was great. The reason for the poor review is the way they do their pricing. Rather than charging based on the actual work needed, they use preset pricing. I needed to connect water lines to a water softner. Since my home was already plumbed for a softner, just needed 2 PEX fittings and 2 flex lines installed. $100 in parts and less than an hour of labor. Knowing that plumbers are expensive, I was expecting a price in the neighborhood of $300 to $400. Was told it would be $926. When I questioned the high price I was told that is what the company charges for a water softner installation. That would be great if my house wasn't plumbed for a softner and they needed to tap into the plumbing and actually run water lines. Company claims they have upfront pricing, however they don't tell you the pricing unless you pay $69 to have them come to your house. This would have been fine if the price was base on what needed done, but since the price was a preset "water softner installation" charge, they could have just told me that upfront before coming out. In the end I paid for the service call and declined the work. Made quick trip to the plumbing supply store and spent a half hour of my time and did the job myself saving $800.

Mike was my plumber today. He was great! Very friendly and professional. He wasn’t trying to get me to get unnecessary work done. he did top quality work on my new faucet and also helped with a few miscellaneous issues with the water pressure and other things. Washer died. Discovered inside of washer shut off valve was corroded out, so weren't able to stop water coming out. Had to shut off water to whole house overnight. Called Pristine Plumbing in the morning, they were here within a couple hours. Swapped out valves quickly and efficiently while being professional, and personable. I like to observe how things get fixed, to have a better understanding of how they work. He was very patient answering my questions, and didn't make me feel stupid. Will definitely use them again.
