Dillon has been teaching Piano lessons to my 2 sons(aged 4 and 8) for two months. His interaction with the children is very good and they are happy to be taught by him. Dillon started with teaching the music theory to build a foundation for the future lessons. I can see that my older boy is improving his piano skills and it seems like Dillon's way of teaching is the right choice for him. He is practicing the lessons during the weekdays. On the otherside, they are still working on the letter assigments of the notes, and seems like they are not having a lot of progress. Maybe he is too young for this kind of teaching, I am not sure. But I believe he will do better when they pass a certain threshold with the basics.

Our 4 years old daughter started a single 30 minute piano lesson a week with David just little short of 2 months ago. After two weeks, she asked to increased to 45 minute lesson twice a week as she wanted more time with him as she found it fun and exciting. In such a short period of time from an absolute beginner, she can already play a variety of songs on her own and starting to read simple music notes. This could not have been achieved without David. David is not only friendly but extremely patient and creates such a wonderful environment that our daughter is excited to go to her next lesson with him and asks often when will she sees him next. In addition to playing the piano, both of our daughters (the 4 year old, and our 2 year old) take 30 minute percussion lessons right after the piano lessons. David encourages our whole family to participate as he explains the concepts and methods of different instruments, followed by an improvisational drumming session. He makes both of our daughters feel very comfortable at his place, they absolutely love him! David is extremely encouraging of learning and involvement in a very positive teaching style. Our girls are very lucky to have him!

I just recently had my first lesson with Julian, and I could not be happier with how it went and what we were able to accomplish. Julian is not only an incredibly talented musician, but his ability to convey music theory and apply it to the piece we worked on is fantastic. I have been playing the piano for nearly 8 years and have studied with multiple instructors, but I know that continuing lessons with Julian will be a fantastic and valuable experience, different from the others I've had. His lessons are well-priced, and definitely worth the investment. I'd recommend taking lessons with Julian to anybody, rather that be a beginner or someone more advanced! Can't wait to continue.
