Nick and his team of professionals were out of this world amazing from start to finish on the day of our Wedding. They were there on time and Nick had made me feel at ease from the moment I met him through Thumbtack. He is an amazing DJ, Entertainer, Businessman and overall wonderful person to be around! Nick made me feel so comfortable from the time we started communicating through Thumbtack that once I connected with him my decision was made to go with him and his team of professionals for my Wedding day for DJ services, Photography and Videography. My husband and I used RJC Studios for our wedding DJ/MC, lighting, and photobooth. During the planning process, Robert was both extremely professional but also fun and easy to talk to. He had lots of print-outs with general wedding planning advice which really shows that he cares about his clients and he got really excited about my lighting ideas which made ME really excited! Everything was flawless on my wedding day (10/22/2016). We had to do the ceremony inside due to rain, but the mic was perfect and there was no audio feedback or problems. The cocktail hour music played exactly as I wanted it to and at a perfect volume. The main banquet room looked GORGEOUS and I am forever grateful for Robert for creating the starry night/galaxy ceiling that I had wanted so badly. It was SO cool, everyone loved it, and I can't wait to see the photos! The actual DJ/MC portion went perfectly as well, the music was always on-point and exactly what we wanted. For our first dance, we wanted one or two lines from the song "Everlong" by the Foo Fighters to be ... magically "erased". I don't know what to call it, but he knew exactly what I meant and just magically took it out. It made the song even more beautiful and I really appreciated how willing he was to do anything we needed. Craig the MC was incredibly friendly, helpful, and funny. I thought I would have to coordinate things like the order of people for reception introductions, but he came out and did it for me. Really nice having him there and his MC'ing was great, he even made some small announcements when asked to alert people to some of the extra little activities we had. The photobooth was also the highest quality one I've ever been in. The lighting was very flattering (trust me, very important) and they could print several strips so everyone was sure to get one. Robert showed me how we could use a green-screen and give our guests two options-- one with a galaxy background for normal people and one with Star Wars backgrounds for the nerds in our lives (our theme was space/galaxy so we wanted to have some nerdy elements in the details). Let me tell you, I am so thankful he gave me that choice because people had a total blast with it!! The staff gave us the photobooth-guestbook the night-of, a black high-quality album that we got to look at the next morning over coffee. Absolutely money well-spent. The photobooth operator ladies were also super polite and fun and were very tolerant of our crazy loud and drunk guests. I appreciate that. :) Overall, I have 0 negative things to say about RJC Studios. The price was right within our budget and they deserve much more. I am so grateful that Robert came to me through thumbtack because he helped make the best night of my life beautiful and fun and made the process stress-free. Thank you for everything, Robert!
We worked with Katherine Fonsella from DeCicco events and cuisine and she was WONDERFUL. We were planning a pre-wedding dinner for about 100 people in the Tarrytown area, but we live in Northern California. We did not know any venues or caterers or suppliers. Katherine helped us find a great, unusual loft venue, arranged all the decor, tables, lighting, and set up the catering from DeCiccos. The staff were excellent, the food was very good, everything went off perfectly. We are so appreciative of all that Katherine did to make our event wonderful!
I hired Anastasiya to be the day-of coordinator for my wedding and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. This woman is a superhero. My wedding had a million tiny details to attend to (it was a very DIY wedding) and only 2 hours of set-up time and I don't know how she did it all but she just pulled it off perfectly. Every single detail, she nailed, and the wedding went more smoothly than I ever thought possible. She was super responsive, incredibly organized, punctual, kept all my vendors in check, went above and beyond in everything she did, and was just a truly kind and wonderful person to work with. I could not imagine my wedding without her. She is really exceptional and I am honored to have met her and to be able to recommend her to others to the highest possible degree.
If you ever need a right hand, Mom, bartender, coordinator, warm feeling... part of your family experience I suggest you take a second to talk to Nancy. If I could leave TEN STARS I really would. She was responsive and very caring. She came when she said that she would and it was no funny business. She truly shows her years of experience in everything she does from the moment you meet her. She was so willing to work with my budget and provided me with two wonderful young lady’s that were so professional and punctual. Nancy came prior to my wedding to make sure we had everything we needed. Then she came the day of my wedding early to make sure everything was running smoothly. And stayed until she felt that she could go home and come back. She then returned the time we had agreed upon, very punctual with two of the best servers I could have ask for. These ladies worked so hard let me tell you I couldn’t be happier. Nancy introduced me to them and let them know being the bride i should just relax and to come to anyone else but me. And that’s exactly how it went. My day felt without a hiccup without any real stress. I was able to enjoy and just sit back take care of all my family and friends, take pictures...even got to sit and eat. I come from a server background and I know AMAZING service when I see it. She will be be part of every event I ever have. #HAPPYBRIDE #AMAZING P.S. Once I have some pictures I will write another review on how much my family and friends loved her.
Laura welcomed myself (groom) and my future mother in law to a complimentary tasting as we discussed plans for my upcoming wedding. The food was delicious and her hospitality was very warm and gracious. Looking forward to our wedding day working with Laura and Sunflowers!
Anna was perfect. I hired her for my wedding last night as a surprise to my husband . And one of our friend hired another belly dancer for us as a surprise so we had 2 different belly dancer and Anna danced second. So i was a little nervous cause I thought it might be a little to much and boring. But she made us to forget the first dancer. She was smiling all night long. Visited all tables and took care of everyone individually. I have no idea how she did it but end off the her dance all guests were on the dance floor and having fun. She is very beautiful and talented. Everyone loved her. Definitely recommend her. Thank you Anna
Absolutely beyond 5 star experience. Chef Dave prepared the most incredible food. I am still blown away by what he was able to create for my wedding. The entire night the most common question was "who did you get to cater this?!" Truly top notch food...it was absolutely delicious. Thank you so much for your help Chef!
We had our tasting today 11/12/16. The presentation of the food was great and the food was awesome! Brenda and Wayne were very professional and welcoming. We can't wait for our wedding guests to taste the food. Brenda worked within my budget and offered great suggestions to make our wedding day very special. She is hired!
Patrick was professional, friendly and accommodating. He was easy to contact and always returned calls promptly. Two years later my guests are still raving over the food how wonderful the staff was. I highly recommend them! My wedding would not have been such a success without them. Everything was perfect!
We hosted a rehearsal dinner on September 7, 2017 at the Thyme Restaurant and without a doubt, the venue, the delicious and unbelievable presentation of the food, the atmosphere, and the exceptional service exceeded any expectation that I might have had. We ended up at the restaurant a half hour before we had indicated that we were going to be there and not only was everything ready and perfect, the staff was completely accommodating and understanding. The entire evening was perfect - really (and I do not often say that). I wish I could go back and do it all again (including the planning which was a complete pleasure with Pam). It was the best choice to start what was a wonderful wedding weekend. Thank you all at the restaurant for making the event such a success. The bride and groom could not have been happier and all are still talking about what a great evening it was!

Bella Couture Events helped make my wedding epic! She went above and beyond her call of duty to insure we had an amazing and stress free night. She was super responsive from our initial contact. So responsive that we were sometimes the ones taking long to get back to her lol. We had already hired our vendors (caterer, bar services, DJ, decorator, officiant, cake) but Bella Courture coordinated everything and communicated with all the vendors. She went through a walk through a month before our event and helped create a detailed schedule of events made sure everything was on time. She spoke with vendors and helped smooth out any confusions weeks before the wedding. One the day of there were no worries. She had an assistant that was great and tended to things as well. When our MC got a flat on the way to the wedding she stepped right in and even MC’d the reception. Incredible! She was super professional and helped us with every aspect of day of coordination. She helped my bride change into her second dress and even helped clean at the the end of the night even though that wasn’t in her job description. She’s just amazing and we have been gushing about her every day. I’d hire her a million times over!

I highly recommend Linda!! She was fantastic and the calligraphy was beautiful. She addressed and assembled about 140 wedding invitations for me. She was super responsive throughout the process and delivered ahead of schedule. She also went to the post office and had the cards hand stamped. I was in between two ink styles and she provided sample pictures and her advice. She provides the same traditional style and service of very high end calligraphers at more reasonable price. I will likely have her also do my place setting cards next. Hire Linda and you will be very happy!!
Words can't express our gratitude for Stephanie and her entire staff. Without Stephanie there would have been no wedding (lol) or at least it felt that way. The entire planning process from beginning to end was so smooth. Stephanie is EXTREMELY ORGANIZED and had every little detail covered. She was very professional and easily accommodated all of our special request. Her attention to detail is impeccable and took great concern with following through each one. She listened to us and made our vision come to life. Stephanie was patient and accommodating through all the hiccups along the way and we are eternally grateful to her. The night before the wedding July 2, 2016 one of our vendors unfortunately did not come through as expected but Stephanie and her team were able to still pull it through. That night Around 11:30 pm I realized that I had forgotten to give Stephanie some items for our early wedding that following morning. She was already on her way to venue sorting out the details and resolving the mishap of our vendors but yet she turned around ,came to my house and picked the items up from me. I was already impressed by Stephanie thus far but when she did that it solidified that we picked the right wedding planner. She is thoughtful of her clients and she went the extra mile to check up on us not because we hired her but it was her genuine acts of kindness and thoughtfulness. We felt so confident we made the right choice of picking Mariage Blanc to partake in our wedding festivities. Stephanie in the process of helping us plan our wedding became more like family to us. For example after our meeting was clearly done she would stay late into the night helping us sort out details going over issues and call almost everyday to find out how we were personally doing and how we were preparing for the big day. She would offer words of comfort to both Sam and I but in particular to me as the nervous bride. Her hard work ethnic is one that surpasses what we and our family have seen. If we could get married all over again without a doubt we would share that day again and the wedding prep process with the entire Mariage Blanc Designs.Thank you and may God continue to bless you all. Even within short notice, MIZDIs staff curated my birthday gathering and coordinated all aspects. It was a incredibly successful evening. They exceeded expectations . Every attendee has a exceptional time. The party was full of jubilation and the space was transformed. I would highly recommend them. The owner , Debra has great attention to detail; I mentioned all my favorite foods, and she made lamb sliders , and she and a chef custom made a black strawberry cake. I look forward to using MIZDI for my mom's upcoming bday and retirement party.
She is extremely well organized and thought about every detail, even if we missed it. The day we told her we were doing a wedding she organized a personal wedding binder and timeline for us. She was very receptive to our perfect image of what we wanted to wedding to be and look like. During the planning, when we figured out what decorations and extras we would like she would give us a break down of how much time and money it would be to do it ourselves and research how much it would be for someone else to do it... FOR EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. She always gave us options that fit what we wanted and options that went with our theme if we didn't quite know what to do. She was on top of all the vendors and was extremely punctual. We could not have hoped for a better wedding planner. We also attribute our perfect wedding and reception to her.
My fiance and I used Distinctive Visions event Management to take care of our wedding invitations and the service was nothing short of wonderful. I wasn’t entirely sure where I wanted to go with the style for them (we have 6 different colors in the wedding), but Nya was patient and helped lead us in the right direction. I am very happy with the final product, and we didn’t have to do anything except mail them! She worked hard to stay under our budget and was still able to deliver the perfect invitations. I will definitely use Distinctive Visions again in the future for more than just invitations.
Lauren and Justine made not only the day of the wedding run without any faults, but also the weeks leading up to it. From the first planning meeting with Lauren, it was evident to me that the wedding was in superbly capable hands. She took over communication with the vendors and confirmed every single moving part of the wedding to create a master schedule, and then check in every step of the way to be sure that everyone was aware of the scheduling and to get live updates on the status of the schedule. Her organization made it simple for us to understand what tasks we had left to do and clearly showed a plan to execute all outstanding items. I wasn't worried about forgetting any details because I knew Lauren had them all handled and would also check all of them with us while adding her experienced suggestions. On the day of the wedding, Lauren and Justine went beyond my imagination in how proactive, cheerful, helpful, and all around amazing they were. Lauren cued each parent and bridesmaid when to walk down the aisle in the ceremony. Justine communicated with our reception venue and helped set it up while the ceremony was ongoing. At the end of the night, Justine was able to pack up all items and make sure everything we needed to return to us got back to us that evening safely. There was no stress in either getting what we needed to the venue or taking everything back home. Due to Lauren's organization with her pack lists prior to the wedding and Justine's meticulousness, there was nothing in question for us. Hiring Lauren was our best wedding decision - we can't have imagined our day running so seamlessly without her and her team. Any prospective couples out there should get their dates on Lauren's calendar and rest assured that their day will run perfectly. We had the most magical day, and not once were we concerned about any planning details. Our vendors, bridal party, and guests noted how organized and smooth the event ran, all thanks to YWbL!
