Waking up at 6am is difficult and being energized is even more challenging. But Peter is able to keep me focused, engaged and enthusiastic with my 6am workouts and I leave feeling great and ready to tackle the day. He has listened to my workout goals and developed a personalized workout plan for me. I feel like I am working out more effectively than ever before and I can't wait to see the results (I am only a week in). I was impressed the first session when he said that it was a better use of his and my time if I did my cardio warm-up before he arrived so that I wasn't paying him to watch me run on a treadmill - I feel like that showed he respected that I was paying for training and he wanted to make sure I got my money's worth. Peter has also given me great advice about nutrition and workouts outside of my training sessions with him. I feel like he knows his stuff and will ensure I don't injure myself or strain anything while at the same time pushing myself beyond what I think I can do. I feel great and I'm very satisfied so far and would recommend him as a trainer to anyone.
IK Fitness is wayyy above the rest. Ian is knowledgeable in all aspects of training, nutrition and fitness. I started with him in 2005. He provided a whole plan of cardio, weight training, and nutrition. He allowed me to achieve my goals, was forever encouraging and always ready to push me when I got lazy! The workouts are great and never boring, but the best part of Ian is the follow up he provided when I wasn't in the gym, just to check in on my progress!!! Super professional
I'm a 30 year old man who's new to working out. Mainly I play hockey but I wanted to add strength/mass and lifting is the only way to achieve that. Rich is a great trainer if you're looking stay motivated and make significant strength gains. Since we started 3 months ago, the weight I can lift has nearly doubled for most exercises even using the limited equipment I have at home. He is also knowledgeable about the nutritional aspect of fitness and has helped me refine my diet to better suit my needs. I have had a great experience training with Rich and I think he would make a great trainer for other people with different fitness requirements as well.
I can't speak highly enough about Alex as he has been my trainer and also nutritionist. I have never looked better and that's all due to him creating a specific work out and nutrition plan personalized just for me. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, intune, caring, kind and responsive. Hands down he is the absolute best in the industry!

I trained with this company back in LA and you have no idea how happy I am that they have trainers in NYC as well! The training packages are a great deal and it's a huge plus that their trainers are well informed when it comes to nutrition. Connie is amazing!! Since working out with Connie, my body has completely transformed and I feel so good in my own skin. Our family has interacting with Michael Demakis on various levels. My daughter, a soccer player, has worked with Mr. Demakis on strength and agility for approximately the last 2.5 years in preparation for, and now playing college soccer. His training in combination with his recommended nutritional program has yielded great results. Specific areas of improvement that we can directly relate to Mr. Demakis include: strength, agility, ball control, endurance, speed and acceleration and most importantly a strong core that helps resist injuries and improves rate of recovery.
