Mixed Experience with a Positive Resolution I initially had a great experience with Enoch HVAC when they replaced one of my HVAC systems in 2023, which led me to sign up for their Bronze membership. However, I faced repeated issues with one of my AC units, and multiple service visits didn’t seem to address the root cause, leaving me frustrated. Thankfully, the service manager, Stephen, stepped in and truly turned things around. He sent a technician out complimentary, kept tabs to ensure the problem was resolved, and was incredibly understanding of my situation. Stephen’s proactive approach restored my faith in Enoch HVAC. While there were some bumps along the way, Stephen’s dedication to resolving the issue showed me that Enoch stands by their customers.

My experience with Metro Service was very frustrating and challenging. They were hired to install a new AC unit for my renter who had no air in the Texas heat. The unit was installed and by the end of the month the new unit stopped working altogether. Then David's communication became spotty and inconsistent. The diagnosis ranged from a receptor needing to be replaced, main water flow back up to the electrical circuit being triggered, but still no air. Though it was under warranty and after days of frustration with David and his technicians, we had to count it as an error in judgement to select Metro Service for HVAC needs. Since we needed resolution for the renter, we hired a new HVAC technician who said it was a bad installation, and he addressed the situation. To this day, we have not heard back from Metro Services, and the unit is under warranty that they did not honor.

First of all, they could not keep their appointment on time even after a second one was setup. Then, the technician was trying to check the HVAC system which seems not their expertise. He also tried to mislead the landlord by giving the wrong diagnose. The AC itself actually turned out working fine other than just a stuck motor. Very inappropriate communication skills with the home owner.

Don’t let the 4.5 stars and 500+ glowing reviews fool you like they did me. Two technicians came to diagnose my furnace/AC issue. Before I even consented to any work, my thermostat had already been removed from the wall, leaving the wires exposed. They quickly claimed the thermostat was the problem and quoted me $400 for a Nest or Ecobee — models that retail for around $130. That’s more than a 100% markup, which immediately raised concerns about their pricing practices. When I said I preferred to purchase and install the thermostat myself and would simply pay the stated service fee, their demeanor changed entirely. One technician abruptly stopped what he was doing, became defensive, and said, “We don’t do business like that — that’s bad business.” They then packed up, refused to accept payment, and left my wall exposed with the thermostat still detached. A reputable HVAC company should diagnose the issue, provide an estimate, and allow the customer to decide whether to proceed — not pressure them into overpriced parts or leave a job incomplete out of spite. This experience was unprofessional, discourteous, and deeply concerning. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for HVAC services. There are many honest and transparent companies out there — unfortunately, this is not one of them. ⸻ TL;DR Don’t be misled by the 4.5-star rating — technicians removed my thermostat without permission, quoted over 100% markup on parts, got defensive when I declined, and left my wall wiring exposed. Unprofessional and not to be trusted.
