So you want to learn the guitar but have no clue where to start?? Kind of embarrassed that your pushing 40 and have no hobby? Fear not! Trey is your man! Take it from a chick that works all the time, has 3 boys and seriously has no life except to watch American Idol or American Ninja Warrior. I secretly wish I could have the skills that one could only hope for... And I'm not talking about William Hung here. Now I have only taken 2 lessons from Trey and I have learned a great deal. Now I'm not playing Hotel California from the Eagles or Angie from the Stones but I have learned 9 chords that I practice daily and loving every minute of it. Might be weird but I am looking forward to my fingers having calluses and being numb because I know I am working it. Trey is patient, cool and down to earth. He will push you to what your potential is.....even if you don't know where that is. I'm really lucky to have found him. If you need the extra help he will even send a video for you to practice strumming patterns. If you want to learn with ease and have fun doing it from someone who makes it fun, you MUST look into Trey. I highly recommend it.... Who know you might be on your way to play Jack White's Seven Nation Army in no time!

Excellent teacher. Helped me develop my piano and vocal skills. Unfortunately, I had to stop my lessons for a while, but I'll surely be back.

I have been taking Spanish lessons with Oscar for two years. When I started I didn’t even know a single Spanish word and two years later I feel that I learned a lot. And I am happy to say that I can read and understand articles at CNN Espanol. Oscar taught us all the Spanish tenses and the subjunctives, he gave us materials at different levels to read and write essays, and now he is working on our conversational skills. Oscar is a very knowledgeable and friendly person and he has a lot of patience with his students. He always tries to explain everything in a simple but detailed way and to give us specific examples so that we can fully understand.

I look forward to my lesson every week and I know I'm on my way to being a real guitar player. Thank you Willysage!!

I'd been plunking away at the piano by myself for about a year when I decided to take lessons from Liam. I'm so glad I did. He is a challenging teacher but manages to also be fun and funny. I leave my lessons with a new set of objectives to practice over the week which helps me continue to make progress. His lessons are the perfect mix of technique and artistry. Highly recommended.

Miriam was wonderful! I am so glad I found her and I would absolutely hire her again and will recommend her to friends. She spoke with me before the event to find out details, what type of music I would prefer, and what kind of tone I'd like to set with it. The guests commented they really enjoyed the music, that it wasn't over-powering or too loud, and that it set the right mood for the cocktail reception. Thank you, Miriam for helping make our special day even more special! Fernando and Angela

I have been extremely satisfied with Warren Tiplady during the course of our lessons. I have been taking lessons since September and plan to continue. I am a lifelong musician (but brand new to the guitar) so I wanted to make sure I had a teacher who knew what they were doing. Short answer: Warren definitely does. He really means it when he says that he teaches you how to play, not what to play. And while that may sound a bit abstract, trust me when I say that it is critical to his success as a teacher. Highly recommend.

My almost 6 year old daughter have just begun her lessons with Mr. Long and I was amazed how comfortable my daughter was with him. I love Mr. Long's style of teaching and tools. My daughter couldn't stop talking or looking through the lesson books all the way home!

About

I've been taking lessons with Phil for nearly a year and I am so happy with the results I'm hearing in my voice. My voice before taking lessons with Phil was weak and pitiful, however, the method Phil uses is extremely effective and does magic for your voice. He takes a more physical approach to getting your voice strong and robust, you have to be committed to doing the vocal exercise cd's he gives you everyday but it is so worth it.This guy knows what he is doing and knows how to get the voice in good shape. He is a cool guy too and doesn't bore you to death during the lesson, his dry sense of humor makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend Phil to anyone who is serious about a professional career in singing, you won't find a better teacher in Texas than Phil, I guarantee it.

We have been taking lessons from "Mr. Jerry" for three years and it has been great. My oldest child suffers from a mild case of Tourettes Syndrome and he works with her wonderfully. He is very patient, understanding, and kind; even on rough days he presses on. He is honest and has great hopes for his students and desires to push them to do their best. It has been a great experience for our family. Two of my children currently take lessons; a third one will start next year.

Mark is really talented at his craft. By my second lesson, I was playing piano with both hands. The book he uses teaches you how to play by learning the chords rather than disecting the sheet music to see each and every single note (learning the classical way can be quite daunting and frustrating).I'm already learning my second piece of music in only 3 lessons!! As I do have a great musical foundation, this may come a little easier to me than for those who've never read or learned to sight read music at a fast pace, but Mark is a great teacher. He is able to respond to my questions via texts and email pretty quickly so that I may resume practice when I do happen to get stuck. Thank you Mark!!!

About

After a couple of years fumbling around on the guitar with no formal training, I knew that I needed to find a good teacher. He has customized my lessons based on my knowledge of music and my musical tastes. We choose a song that I am interested in, and then He incorporates the technique and theory I need into that song. He has even helped me with my own songwriting. I've been taking lessons from He for nearly a year now, and I've become much more confident in my playing abilities.

Liberty was my first guitar teacher. For years I had fooled around, trying to play by ear, etc. At the recommendation of a friend, I decided to take some lessons from Liberty. I only wish I had started earlier! Over a span of three short years, Liberty taught me how to play. Music theory, major and minor scales, songwriting strategies, and much more -- he covered it all! Now I am writing and recording original guitar music, and I am very appreciative of what he taught me. Liberty is a very patient and engaging instructor for any level of player, from beginner to pro. I highly recommend him as an instructor!

Matt was very helpful with teaching me the Sitar and 12 string guitar. His practice studio was well kept and maintained nicely. After the hour session, we talked about the goals we both had in mind for me so I could prepare for the next lesson. Matt was so positive and helpful that I was able to progress right away! I will be working with Matt for a long time!

super awesome guy. i felt very comfortable with Brandon right from the start when we met for coffee to discuss my experience-level, goals, etc. he's very flexible with your schedule providing lessons out of his home. i loved that he provided a guitar to use so that i didn't have to lug mine around every week. he'll be missed in Seattle but highly recommended for lessons wherever he resides. a couple things that could have gone better were preparation (remembering where we left off in the last lesson, having lessons already printed out, etc.) and schedule consistency. but I also feel that's what made him an even more fun instructor. and I wouldn't expect a consistent schedule from someone that performs live shows during the week let's be real

I met Vadim for a free consultation and have since had two lessons with him. He is a very good teacher and has his own unique ways of explaining basic concepts. Students studying with Vadim will be very well grounded in basic classical guitar technique. I myself teach music lessons and understand the importance of building a solid foundation in the basics. There are great players on any instrument who can't teach, and there are great teachers who can't play. Vadim is the total package, one of those individuals who can do both very well. I'm looking forward to a long and fruitful teacher/student relationship with him.

About

I was born to help others. My intention for my yoga classes is to help students cultivate a stronger mind-body connection. I achieve this by focusing on the breath as I guide students through yoga poses, creating meditation in motion. This encourages the student to focus on the present moment, letting go of the past and what is to come, allowing for a release in stress and muscle tension. I believe that students should adjust yoga poses to their body instead of contorting their body into an unnatural pose. I apply this in my classes by focusing on alignment and offering modifications and advancements to individualize each pose. These personal adjustments are what make it a student's authentic yoga practice. As a yoga teacher, I am here as a guide for my students on their personal journey.
