Do you need some help with math? I can help you with that! I completed Calculus BC in junior year of high school with a score of 5, and none of my high school math grades were below 95%. Also, I got a score of 750 in SAT Math I and 770 in SAT Math IIC. Therefore, I am very comfortable in teaching from grades 1 to 11 math. I have some teaching experience as a peer tutor for a year, but most importantly, I am very passionate about math. You might not like math right now, but I will change that. You have logical intellect inside you, and in your math class, you just have to not freak out and use that innate talent in you. My goal is to get you interested in math and excel at it. I am from South Korea and have been studying in an island beside Vancouver, Canada, for 6 years. I am currently a UCLA student and major in psychobiology (behavioural psychology). I usually charge $20 to $25 per hour, but feel free to negotiate an alternative price with me if you have one. Thank you.

About

I've been tutoring high school and undergraduate students in English/writing, math (up to college Algebra II), and the SAT for several years, and have a straight A record. I examine each student's personality, study and time management habits, strengths and weaknesses, learning styles, and thinking styles in order to customize a tutoring approach that takes advantages of their strengths while strengthening their weaknesses. The three major areas I tutor are: - English/writing - Math (up to college algebra) - SAT/ACT

I grew up part of my life in Los Angeles, California, and the other part in Merida Yucatan in Mexico. I have taught Spanish both to retirees living in Mexico from United States and Europe and in the United States. This is a side job I do about 8 to 10 hours per week. I am completely fluent in both English and Spanish. I am self-taught in Spanish, and although I am fluent now, when I was young, I had to figure the language out for myself. This gives me an edge that native Spanish speakers don't have. I have always gotten a lot of good feedback from everyone I have tutored in Spanish, and I hope to work with you in the near future!

About

Foreign languages are my passion, and I share it with my students. I am a French, Armenian and Russian speaker. I graduated with an M.S. degree in Armenian, Russian and French. I have taught French classes to students of different levels at school and university as well. Many of my students have passed with honors. I am very patient and always create a fun atmosphere, which is the key to success. Russian and Armenian are my native languages. I am working as a private tutor right now. I am using only modern approaches and textbooks in teaching. Knowledge of languages opens ways to different world, so let's do it. As many languages as you know, so many separate individuals you are worth. Best regards, Ellona
