I had originally signed up for swimming, but have been working with Laura on fitness sessions at a gym (will be doing swimming next summer now). Laura is an awesome trainer one can work with, for an appropriate set of exercises depending on individual needs. She has a very positive attitude and her schedule is flexible. She is patient and works with an exercise pace that is comfortable for the individual, while also encouraging stretch exercises / goals if and when possible and needed. She is easy to talk to and work with. I feel good after the training sessions and am looking forward to continuing to work with her.(show more)
Vanessa took on the difficult job of rehabilitating a 65 year old family member after a hospital stay. She assessed her very well, gave her clear directions, provided instructions to us regarding support materials, and kept her on task and encouraged. Also, she is very reasonably priced. I met Nicole today and it was great! She's very honest and very supportive and she's with you all the way. She's like a cheerleader and a coach. I don't like group classes and have had one one ones before but her method is exactly what I have been looking for. She even taught me how to defend myself and that was quite awesome. Justin is one of the most knowledgable personal trainers I have had the pleasure of getting to know and learn from. As a professional in the health field it was important to me to work with someone who understands the physiology of the body and could accommodate to my individual needs and goals. Justin is highly relatable and took the time to listen to and get to know what was important for me to achieve. Unlike the work of many other trainers I've seen, Justin had my best interests in mind at all times and was excellent at tailoring a client-specific program for diet and exercise that is unique, especially for me as a vegetarian. I have been active as an avid runner and did not need to make a drastic change, but I wanted a new challenge for myself to get stronger with strength training and he provided that. I felt myself getting stronger after just several weeks of working with Justin and that carried over into my work with my patients. At every session he was encouraging, motivating, varied the type of exercise, and safely forced me to push myself to a point I didn't think I could. He was accommodating to any minor injuries I had and adjusted the exercise regimens around them. Justin will provide the tools necessary to get to your goals, which you will, as long as you put in 100% effort on your end. It's hard work and he's with you along every step of the change. I highly recommend him to anyone at any point in their fitness journey! Had I not started training for another race I would have continued to work with Justin. I continue to implement the information learned from Justin in my daily life as I see fit and am extremely thankful to have had the pleasure to have him as my trainer.(show more)

Mo is the man! If you are looking to reach your fitness goals, do a couple sessions with Mo... you wont regret it. Personal progress from working with Mo for a couple weeks: Bench 185 -> 225 Squat 225 -> 285 Deadlift 265 -> 350 Pullups 15 -> 28 Pushups 35 -> 52 You WILL work hard, you WILL push your limits, and you WILL succeed. On a personal note, Mo is a great dude. Genuine, hilarious, and motivating (sometimes even philosophical). I've only had my initial meeting with Dan Peterson. Dan is personable, professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. The gym is well laid out, well-equipped and clean. Love, love, love working out with Nicole Gillette! She is motivating, compassionate, full of energy and full of unique workouts. In the past my fitness ambitions have been sidelined by injury, but I'm not concerned about that with Nicole. She's very knowledgeable and helpful when I'm feeling sore. I am very glad I chose Joe as my personal fitness trainer. With my demanding work schedule, sedentary lifestyle and vegetarian food habits, I needed someone who can provide a tailor made fitness regime at my doorstep -- and Joe is delivering just that. He adopts a practical approach towards weight loss, is very friendly and flexible with timings (sometimes even flexible with days). I was never a regular at gym before; but with Joe, I feel motivated to hit the road and demonstrate that incremental progress. He makes the workout interesting by alternating the workout locations between gyms, outdoors and hills, brings his own equipment and experiments different workout sequences based on what I can endure.My goal is to reduce 40-50 pounds by Dec2015.
