Rodney came in and tiled our outdoor concrete slabs with outdoor tile. He and is crew did an excellent job, They arrived when they said they would, charged exactly what the estimate was, and the tile work is as good as we had hoped for.
I hired Mountain Top to take down a 25' high interior brick wall, and a smaller brick fireplace suround. Steve is an experienced mason and knows exactly the best way to take apart the wall without damaging the house. Steve and his crew were extremly careful with our house and did a super clean-up of the area. In fact, he even mopped the floors! I intend to use Mountain Top for additional work.
The company refinished an existing floor and installed a new wood floor in our condo. They arrived on time as scheduled, performed the work in an exceptional manner and completed the work in accordance with their proposal. We would definitely use them again.
Ken installed tile on our basement floor (slab) and the shower surround in the basement bathroom. He communicated great throughout the entire process and gave us a great end product. We hope to use Ken on our future projects.
We hired Gonzalez Construction to help us with a condo remodel. The work they did included demolition, framing, drywall, new lighting, installing trim, removing tile, laying new tile, plumbing work, leveling the floor, and wood floor install throughout. Daniel and his team were reliable, finished the work quickly, and were professional throughout the entire process. We would definitely hire them again!
The guys at A/R did a great job installing the wood floor staircase. The price was right, they completed the job in one day and there was no mess to clean up. Highly recommend A/R!
We converted a sliding glass door into a window. Zach and his crew installed the brick on our new wall. They did an excellent job matching the weeping mortar and brick, were very polite and cleaned up their job site. We will be using them again as we progress through our home remodel.
Mel and his team did an impressive job building a brick retaining wall around our raised cement patio. Our patio went from boring to having a high-end custom look in a little over a week. Huge transformation! We are very happy with the quality of work and plan to contract with White Mountain again next year to build raised beds in our yard to match. Have already recommended to a friend and neighbor.
I hired Joe and his team to come in and level a interior slab floor so I could install hardwood floors. He was quick, punctual, courteous, and professional. I will be hiring again for future projects.
We were in the middle of our kitchen remodel, and had the old floor removed. We had a very tight schedule to get a new tile floor installed. Al and Betty Jo had the perfect answer. They were able to start right away, and did an excellent job. The most impressive aspect was the detail and care. Every tile was placed with consideration of just how the texture and color would look, and everyday they would take care to clean and organize, allowing us to use the area under construction. The estimate, contract, communication, and advice were all excellant. A great team!
Mountain Home Remodeler performed demolition services and installed the hard wood floor and backsplash, among other things. The work was performed at a high quality level and Jim went above and beyond by assisting with other smaller projects not part of the contract. The only criticism would be a matter of setting expectations regarding the length of the project.
We hired Stucco and Stone Masons, via Thumbtack. They had good recommendations, were very prompt in their response, came to our home for a quote within 2 days, and could start right away. Work included: 1) Floor leveling (our floors were very uneven!) 2) Tile installation 1100 sq. ft (12X12 travertine squares, arabesque travertine tile, 3X5ft subway tile shower + mosaic travertine shower floor tiles) 3) Plaster wall repair in our basement (7 exterior walls) To give you an idea of the VALUE this company brought to our renovation: We had received four quotes JUST for the tile installation that were between $13,000-$15,000, which did *not* include floor leveling or plaster wall repairs! These companies/individuals were booked for months in advance and their turnaround for completion would have been 4-6 weeks. This would have severely delayed our project. Filiberto (goes by Beto) and his two sons were very friendly and honest. They quoted us $8,000 for #1-3 work above, and said they would be finished within 3 weeks. They WOULD have been finished before that 3-week timeframe had we not miscalculated the amount of tile they would need for the bathroom floor. They were very understanding of our mistake and returned as soon as the rest of the tile arrived to finish the project. Beto’s crew of four men arrived every day around 9am, and worked around the clock - even SATURDAYS! They were extremely courteous, professional and hard working. Some days they did not leave until 8pm! I have never met such a dedicated, hard-working group of people!! If we had questions/concerns, they were very open to resolving the matter quickly. We are incredibly pleased with their work. Our basement looks AMAZING!! The sand colored tile and the plaster wall repairs has really brightened the space. We are planning to hire them again to repave our driveway and front sidewalk/steps in the spring. We hope you consider them for your future concrete, plaster and or tile projects!
Calabrese Flooring was by far the best contractor I’ve ever hired. We just finished a 3 month long full renovation of our house and Mike (the owner and sole worker of the company) did our floors, stair treads/risers, balusters, and trim in our house (~1400 sqft of floor). From start to finish Mike was responsive, professional, and communicated with great detail what to expect in regards to timeline and price. Just before our project began Mike had a family emergency that took him away from work for several days, delaying the project he was working on just before ours. The delay on this previous project was going to delay the start of our project past the date we were going to install our kitchen (we wanted the floors in before the kitchen). Mike was awesome though and was able to negotiate shared time with his previous client and us to get our floor installed before our Kitchen would be, avoiding any delays on our project. Mike was able to get the majority of our main floor installed in three days and it looked incredible. He definitely focuses on detail as exemplified by how well he was able to end the floor against our fireplace. Mike laid the vinyl flooring from the opposite wall towards the fireplace, making the cut at the brick very difficult to keep close, but when he was done we decided it didn’t even need trim due to how small the gap between the floor and the brick is. At the end of each day Mike communicated what he expected to get done the next day and how much he’d done the current day as well as clarified any questions there may have been about the upcoming work. This really made us comfortable with the work he was doing and avoided confusion and worries since I was at work for most of the installation and couldn’t be there for in-the-moment questions. We were so happy with Mike’s work on our floors we asked him to continue his work onto staining our barn door and installing our balusters. After making sure his other customers were taken care of he quickly made it back to our house to install beautiful balusters, trim, and finish staining our barn door. With each of the projects Mike worked on he paid special attention to detail. The railing on our stairs meets perfectly with the wall. The gaps between the steps and the walls are near unnoticeable and the staining on our barn door is perfectly even. I will 100% be hiring Mike in the future for staining and floor installation.
Joe was a delight to have working on our house. He did our backsplash and a tile stone wall behind out fireplace and they are our two favorite walls in the house. Joe was communicative, efficient and professional in all our dealings. I would 100% recommend Joe for any job and if we have anything with tile or flooring in the future we will be calling Joe & Floors Fixed!
I am more than happy with the job done by Stone Wolf Masonry and I would recommend them without any hesitation. Nick was professional and personable from start to finish. He and his partner cleared out all the weeds in our yard, leveled the ground and prepared it to lay sod and mulch. They came when they said they would, and they worked quickly, efficiently and with attention to detail. Their original quote spelled out what our costs would be and we received excellent service for a very reasonable price!
They came to look at the tile work. We needed tile installation in our new basement bathroom. They arrived on time the day of and I asked if they can lay the tile two ways because I wasn't sure which way to do it. They did and I picked a pattern. They were quick but did an excellent job for both the shower wall tile and the floor tile. They came back the next day to do the grout. They were finished in no time. I love my bathroom. They were very professional and cleaned up well after the job was done. I strongly recommend them for tile. I would use them again.
I hired Grey Stone to remodel my basement. Jeremy came over and gave me a bid on the job, he showed up on time and explained all the aspects of the job to me. I hired them they did a great job. The project was done on time and at the price I was quoted. I love my basement and would recommend Grey Stone for any project you need done.
Working with Steve was great. He was able to complete everything we needed in a timely manner and he always did what he said he was going to do. My favorite part of what they did was the celling and lighting work in the living room and kitchen. My plan is to use him and his team anytime possible.
American Stone & Tile did an amazing job on my shower. This was my first shower redo, and Bret and Don walked me through the whole process. Every step of the way, he let me choose to use exactly the product I wanted (I wanted small-ish subway tiles) and Don did a beautiful job with the tiles. Very professional job all the way. As far as price goes, their bid was not the lowest and not the highest as well. In my passed experience I kept on waiting for little things to pop up and to be surprised with a big bill at the end, but they kept to their original price. Highly recommended.
I do custom tile and stone installation. My services are residential- and commercial-space friendly. If you would like a custom installation at a fair and honest price and that's hassle free, please feel free to get in touch with me.
There are lots of good contractors. My firm is one of them. We stand out above others because we have great craftsmen to complete the project on time and correct.
