I cannot say enough about Dade County Food Group. My husbands co. was honoring him for 30 years of service, and I wanted to host them at our house. I had never hired a private chef before, but I was completely thrilled with the experience. Chef Brian and Chef Jose, was awesome to work with. The food they prepared was outstanding. They were professional and very friendly with my guests. And they cleaned up! A total bonus in my book. Thanks again!
Chef Dan is amazing. I spoke to him at length about how I wanted to plan the bachelorette festivities for my friend months in advance. Not only was he very quick to respond, he was friendly and super knowledgeable. He put together a menu based on my specifications and showed on on the first day with a bright smile and a fantastic personality. Even though the kitchen in our rental unit was less than fantastic, he still stuck to the menu and made sure we had a wonderful experience. He was super prepared! And on top of all of that? The food was amazing. Everything was phenomenal. In addition to preparing great food, Chef Dan fully interacted with our group and fit right in! He played music while he cooked and went a step above his duties by making cute menus for our bachelorette dinner. Chef Dan did a wonderful job and I'd be happy to recommend him to anyone looking for a great private chef. Thanks Chef Dan!
As this was our first go-around without our mother who ran the best Christmas kitchen ever, we decided to look into catering which then led us to the "private chef" concept offered by Jeffrey Sternberg who owns and operates Rosemary and Thyme Catering. Jeffrey was one of 3 caterers who offered their services through Thumbtack, and right from his online presence, we knew that Jeffrey would be the one who would come through on the home-cooked feel we were seeking. One phone call led to an invitation to his home where we were regaled with samples of his work ... now that is service for you! Planning out the meals was a collaborative effort where we told Jeffrey about all our traditional fare over the 3-day feast with Jeffrey being most accommodating to our habitual dishes but all the while making recommendations here and there which we gladly accepted ... it was a very easy and enjoyable process. Everything was delicious, truly surpassing our expectations. There were even several batches of shortbread made up for our inspection before choosing the version that best matched the type of shortbread we were accustomed to. The cauliflower and celery casseroles were actually better than we had ever made ourselves and the filet roast of beef for the day after Christmas was without a doubt the best we'd ever tasted. If there was any negative to be found, it was simply in that there was way more food prepared for us than we could ever expect to eat ... we froze the leftovers and are still enjoying the odd Jeffrey meal ... talk about getting excellent value for your money! The only exception to the quantity was the gravy that only lasted the one meal of Christmas dinner. And Jeffrey also surprised us with plenty of extras like a 4th appetizer that we had not ordered, dips that we had not ordered for the appetizers, and mayo and mustard spreads for our sandwiches, and the killer was an extra turkey roasted in the oven in case we did not end up being fond of the grilled turkey that he recommended. The one hitch was that the re-heating instructions did not specify "convection" or take into account that all six dishes were to be reheated in the oven simultaneously, so the food was not ready when we were led to believe it would be, but it was well worth the wait in the end because everything was outstanding. Service, service, service ... that is what Jeffrey is all about ... and he really knows what he's doing ... you can just relax or else spend the time you save in the kitchen fretting over more interesting Christmas activities ... Surprised my girlfriend for Valentine's Day with a private chef and I'm so glad I decided to work with Chef Paul! He is very professional and has a wide variety of meals to chose from. We had the bruschetta bread and jalapeno appetizers and for the main courses had a black and blue filet with cauliflower puree and a sausage stuffed chicken with a side of pasta, all of which were amazing!! Also had a New York style cheesecake for dessert, A lot of great food for a great price! One of the best parts was Chef Paul cleaned up before he left and you would have never known he was even there! I would definitely recommend Chef Paul for your next private party!!
I hired Chef David at Tasty Creations Catering to be a private chef for my boss and his family of 16 while in the Keys on Vacation. It is extremely hard to pick a chef from hundreds of miles away over the phone, but David put me at ease and was amazing to work with from the start. My boss came back from vacation with lots of compliments on the amazing food, the fact that the Chef was so flexible on preparation and timing as well. It was a major relief that Chef David fit right into the family and was able to make this such a positive experience for all. Definitely made my life easier! We will be using him again on our next trip to the area.
Mr. G's Catering services were outstanding. John and his wife came early to set up the event. They surprised and exceeded our expectations with their decorations for my partner's 50th birthday party. His food was what you would expect from a Chef. It was of high quality and quantity for the price. We had more than enough food to feed our guest. His Lasagna was out of this world. Overall, myself, my partner, and all of my guess were extremely pleased from beginning to end.

Kerry is an amazing pastry chef and beautiful person on the inside and out! I sent her the party invite and asked if she can match the design on the cake, add watercolor effect and nautical elements for my sister's baby shower. She matched the cake design perfectly and added her personal touch as well. It was tastefully done and came out elegant and way beyond my expectations! The cake was not only beautiful but also so tasty! Everyone were impressed and now two weeks later we still talk about it. Kerry was also professional and punctual. She kept communicating on the progress, asking questions, keeping me informed and delivered on time. Perfection!
Food was of the highest quality. Impeccable service delivered in a timely and efficient manner. Chef Joseph demonstrated professionalism and flexibility. I really enjoy everything served from this food truck. I have yet to be disappaointed. Finally some real carribean food served in your local area. The chef is extremely friendly and you can taste the love in his food. I highly recommend his ceviche, fish dip or my all time favorite the oxtail!
An exceptional class taught by an exceptional Chef! I am working on my culinary certification and had asked Chef Maury's help to polish my skills up. It took a couple of months until I could finally schedule my class (my schedule won't permit) but Chef Maury replied promptly whenever I send him a message. The class itself lasted for about 4 hours, concentrating on knife skills, stock making and basic cooking techniques. He was very keen in making sure I make the right cuts and correcting me right away. His kitchen is a standard home kitchen so you don't have to worry about being intimidated by big equipment. Whether you have a culinary background like I do or just a home cook who wants to learn more, Chef Maury is the right guy to show you the ropes. I am already looking forward to my next class!

I was hosting an International conference for families. I found Chef Elouaze we traded emails and a few phone calls. From the moment I was introduced to her I felt a connection. She is warm, easy to work with, and understood what I wanted. She stayed in contact with me before and after the event to make sure we were satisfied. I really appreciate the fantastic customer service with Chef Elouaze. The food was amazing as well and the families all seem to love it. I was over a 1,000 miles away when I planned the catering so there was a lot of pressure to have faith in the person catering. Chef Elouaze went above and beyond, she truly cares about you and her business!
Katherine did an outstanding job for us. She helped with suggestions for the menu, selected exceptionally fresh and high quality ingredients, came prepared and ready to make our evening a wonderful success. All the dishes came out with beautiful presentations and were delicious. Katherine was so pleasant, all our guests loved her and were planning on using her services for future events. She really made our little dinner party a memorable evening. I will also use her again and would like to take private cooking classes from her also.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience hiring Brett and his team for my company’s annual staff outing. Not only was the food INCREDIBLE but he and his staff made sure that, despite our last minute venue change due to weather, that everything was on time and catered perfectly for our group and our different dietary preferences. If you’re in need of someone who can get things done when time is of the essence and still enjoy great tasting food, this is a great option. Make sure you ask for seafood options!!!
My husband was out of town on a business trip for 2 weeks and I wanted to have a girls night out party which happened to be perfect as I could have the house to myself. With such little notice I didn't think I could pull off a menu ... I got a recommendation to use Chef Cannabasso and OMG... It was a blessing he did the entire menu with very elegant and delicious appetizers mostly ... The variety and presentation was outstanding , not to mention all the food was homemade. My guest were so impressed and pleased. To this day I get calls requesting him. He is energetic , polite and takes his food very seriously. I would highly recommend him. He is all that💯
