IMPORTANT: I am operating at a reduced capacity and have very limited openings for new in person clients. I currently have a 28 Day Online Bodyweight Program you can do anywhere, without equipment! Check my website for details. All online programs are 15% off at checkout on my website. Online training has different pricing than in-person training. Please visit my website for details: lemonadefit.com. Certified Personal Trainer With Specialist Certifications in Women's Fitness, Weight Loss and Online Training. I offer semi private group and online training programs! Note: I do not travel to clients. Read on to learn more about me and my training style! :) If you would like to set up a call please find availability on my website by clicking the "schedule call" button. I help women take their bodies and lives back! If you have 10-20+ pounds to lose and feel like you have tried everything, you have come to the right trainer. You will FINALLY find sustainable weight loss success through goal setting, healthy habits & quick, effective workouts. This is not a quick fix, but a lifestyle change. ***Semi private group training for up to 6 women. This is a great option for women that need the accountability of in-person training but do not have the budget for one-on-one and need a little bit more flexibility with scheduling. This option is also beneficial for women who like to be pushed harder or motivated by their peers during exercise. It's a wonderful opportunity to make friends and have a great time! Here's How it Works: - Sessions are 60 minutes - You will be in a small group with other women up to 6 people - Workouts will be tailored to your individual goals - Clients who are part of small group training will have the opportunity to set up one 20 minute phone call every 4 weeks to discuss personal fitness, nutrition, and/or health goals with me - Nutrition guidance will be provided for each individual - You will pay for a package of 8, 12, or 16 sessions every 4 weeks - Use them or lose them - You are able to enroll in any available small group training session as long as a slot is open Pricing starts at $280 for 8 sessions.*** Schedule a time with Candice to come in for an initial movement and habit assessment. $45 is due at the time of booking to hold your slot. It is non-refundable. If you move forward with Candice after your initial assessment, the $45 will be credited to your package. Initial assessments last about 60 minutes. These assessments are required to begin in-person training. It's important to remember that every body is different and different methods work for different people. Others will claim they've got the secret to make you lose weight fast, or supplements to increase your metabolism, but if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. I don’t support quick fixes or tricks, weight loss supplements or detoxes, completely cutting out food groups, or extreme exercise. Getting healthy and losing weight takes time, hard work, and consistency. I will help you determine what works best for you and teach you how to live a healthy lifestyle. I believe in moderation and indulging every once in a while and I definitely practice what I preach. Hey, we still need to enjoy life! I am not the type of trainer that is going to get in your face and scream at you and I will not babysit you. I will COACH you on how to live a healthy, fit lifestyle and how to sustain long term results. I will challenge your body and your mind, to adapt, to change, to learn. I know my style of training is not for everyone, but I also know there are a lot of women out there who just need some compassion, direction, and positive reinforcement. If you are looking for a coach to help you safely push yourself, to teach you how to live a healthy lifestyle of moderation, and to guide you on how to properly move your body and lift weights, and to really make a life long change, then I am your girl! **Please note that ONLINE TRAINING has different pricing than in person training. Online training can be beneficial for individuals who have changing schedules, have the ability to workout on different days and times, just need accountability, or who have a tight budget. Pricing starts at $600 for 12 weeks.** Initial consultations for small group training are 60 minutes ($45) and are separate from the group. If you become a client this cost will be deducted from your first package. [For online training, initial consultations are 20 minutes via phone (free)]. You also have the option to book a free 20 minute phone call prior to your in-person consultation. I am currently only taking small group training clients. If you are interested in one-on-one training, I may only be able to take you during late mornings and afternoons. Credentials/Specializations: - Certified Personal Trainer (NASM) - Certified Women's Fitness Specialist (NASM) - Certification Weight Loss Specialist (NASM) - Certified Online Trainer (OTA) - Functional Anatomy Certification (IDEA) - Overall health and wellness focusSee more

*COVID UPDATE!!! *CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ONLY 2 NEW CLIENTS! Workout schedule is getting limited for Fall 2020. The reason why I'm accepting 2 more clients is because I want to focus on a small group to give them my attention and help them achieve their fitness goals. Also please reach out if you are SERIOUS about your fitness goals READY to make a CHANGE! Hey There! My name is Nick and I have been active my whole life and played sports growing up. I have my Bachelors Degree in Health Education and Promotion from East Carolina University. I have over 12 years of experience in training, working out, lifting and just being active overall! Now I know what you are thinking... You are probably thinking why you should hire a personal trainer when there are so many workout videos on YouTube or online workout programs through google... Maybe you thought about joining a gym or already have a gym membership for $20- 50 per month... that is the taking steps in the right direction but ask yourself how many times per week do you get your work outs in? Do you find yourself going to the gym and feeling lost and not know what kind of workouts to do? Maybe going on the treadmill for 20-30 mins and then just doing arm curls but feel lost? Can those videos tell you if you form is correct or give you direct feedback if you are executing a exercise movement correctly? Does that info give you structure and and a plan that has been designed specifically for your fitness goals, your body type, etc...? Will it speak directly to you to tell you to continue to push and drive when you are tired and feel liking quitting halfway through the workout? You can spend HOURS doing the "research" or going to the gym just to feel physically frustrated and mentally exhausted and to find yourself at square one and not have a plan laid out for you with 0 results. Similar to anything in life everyone needs a coach or trainer to inform, educate, demonstrate and to make sure that are doing things correctly and in a safe manner. To give you motivation to push and keep going when you want to give up or quit after 2-3 sets or exercises... To inspire you to do more... to speed up the process for you... and why not do that for your health and fitness goals? At work, didn't you receive training from someone who was more knowledgeable in that field? When you were learning a sport or an instrument, didn't you have a coach or teacher to help you with that? Same thing goes with personal training! It's not necessarily the lack of knowledge that you have because frankly we all know that exercising and working out improves our health, lowers health risks, increases strength and just overall good for us... but if we all know that... then why aren't we all doing that and all in great shape? YOU NEED A ROADMAP! THE MOTIVATION TO DO IT! THAT IS WHERE I COME IN! I love personal training because it feels great to help people feel better, meet their fitness goals and enhance their quality of life. The most rewarding feeling is when I see people achieving their health and fitness goals! My aim in life is to help people however possible and spread happiness and health. Not only that but, I also have knowledge in various healthy foods, diets and also nutrition education! Nutrition and exercising go hand in hand with a healthier lifestyle and how you feel/mood. Why do I personal train? Honestly, it's as simple as the fact that I like people and like helping transform their lives as best I can. Its a partnership between both you and I. Everyone needs a little inspiration, guidance and motivation. That's where I come in to coach and train to become a better version you! What ever health/fitness goal you are trying to achieve... lose 40 lbs, gain muscle, get tone, have more energy, increase flexibility, feel more youthful, maintain overall health... I feel you... and i know you have the potential to make a CHANGE in YOU! Let's work on that change TOGETHER! Your investment in your HEALTH will be worth it now more than ever! Health is the NEW Wealth! Message me to get started :)See more

Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What is a boot camp class?

Fitness boot camps are a heart-pounding way to boost your fitness level. Boot camps are led by a fitness instructor and are based on the concept of military boot camps — intensive workout programs to get new recruits into shape, quickly. Fitness boot camps encourage camaraderie, and the group momentum helps participants get through fast-paced intervals of cardio, isometric training, strength training and endurance drills. Classes may range anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, and usually meet multiple days per week. Boot camps often run a specific duration of time, say four to six weeks, which creates a team-like environment for class members. Other boot camps run year-round and students purchase package pricing for classes, similar to subscriptions that allow them a set amount of classes per week or per month.

Boot camps can be held indoors at a gym, outdoors in a park or on a beach, in a backyard — anywhere there’s room for running, jumping and sweating. Some instructors also provide DVD and online boot camps. You can also find boot camps tailored to your heart’s desire, such as bikini boot camp, or boot camps for new mothers. Boot camps offer an intense workout and are usually led by energetic instructors pushing you to do your best, but unlike military boot camp drill sergeants, fitness boot camp instructors typically don’t use intimidation or punishment to spur you on. Check with your doctor before starting a boot camp if you have health concerns, and always let your instructor know ahead of time if you have injuries.

How much is a boot camp?

The cost of fitness boot camps depends on how often you go, the package you are purchasing (or if you are paying a drop-in fee), the location of the bootcamp, the equipment the instructors provide, and the background and reputation of the instructor. Smaller towns and areas with a lower cost of living typically have lower rates for boot camp services than big cities and regions with a higher cost of living. If you’re paying per class on a drop-in basis, expect to pay anywhere from $12 to $25 or more, depending on the region and the instructor. When you purchase a package of classes, typically the more you buy at one time, the cheaper each class is. The same boot camp class might be $20 for a drop-in student, $15 for a student who pays for 10 classes per month, and $10 for a student who pays for 30 classes a month. Studio space can also affect costs, so if your boot camp takes place in a high-end gym with top-of-the-line equipment, the prices will likely be higher than a class that meets in an outdoor space with limited or no equipment. Shop around to find the right type of boot camp class and the right instructor for you.
