I have been working out with Joey for about a year and a half. I cannot speak highly enough about the level of service, delivery of service or Joey's professionalism. Joey is a top level trainer with deep fitness experience including competitive martial arts and developing exercise programs for the military (as part of his service). He takes what he has learned and applies it in a way that is beneficial for his clients. Each workout is precisely tailored recognizing your needs at the moment in time. In addition, Joey advises on diet and activities/exercises you can be doing as "homework". I noticed results very soon after starting with Joey and also found that my friends noticed a difference as well and were commenting in a positive way. You will be challenged by Joey!-the sessions are not easy. It is through that challenge that you will accelerate your progress and achieve your goals. I would highly recommend Joey to anyone.

Over the last 5 years I’ve had 5 different personal trainers at Equinox(TEIR 1,2&3). They were ok... motivating and nice... but I was looking to be motivated, gain knowledge, and to GET RESULTS (I always felt that I knew more than then trainers; they never gave me a weekly plan, just a decent workout in person; and didn’t know jack about meal plans)! I was on the verge of quitting my personal training for good, when I met Maik. WOW - total perspective change! He's the REAL DEAL! I learned more with Maik than I've ever know! I train totally different now, actually have a solid training plan (that changes every 5-6 weeks), and finally have a meal plan that really works (not just, “eat clean, and you’ll be fine”). Last weigh in was a lean 154lbs (in about 5 months). Maik cycles me through routines that focus on different muscles, and tweaks my meal plan as needed – totally personalized. As if FINALLY GETTING RESULTS wasn’t enough (really the only thing I personally cared about), Maik is a totally cool, laidback, and fun guy to spend the hour with (bonus). He’s also super quick to respond to questions, anytime by email (my pref method of communication). Bottom line – If you are going to have a personal trainer, this is your guy. As someone that is coming from an 80lb transformation, Maik has really helped me understand what it means to lead a healthy life with good nutrition and fitness. His methodology with regards to food is pragmatic and spot on. He will help you set up a meal plan for life. With regards to exercise - he is one of the few honorable trainers and fitness professionals out there that refuses to be a cop out. This guy knows his stuff, and results are imminent. The craziest thing of it all, is that the simplest most basic things are what works. Maik understands this, if you don't believe me, just look at the way the dude is built. In effect, his genius is cutting through all the marketing and misinformation that overwhelms the world around this billion dollar industry. I've been working out with Daryl for almost two months now. The experience has been excellent. Daryl is knowledgeable, experienced, dedicated and thorough. He takes pride in his work and is a pleasure to work with on a personal level. His staff is responsive, polite and helpful. I see a couple of anomalous negative reviews here but frankly they do not reflect my experience. With personal training at your home, one has to be a little flexible with things like weather disruptions etc. The staff have always been very responsive in adjusting fees and credits to account for it. So I would have no hesitation recommending Daryl and DMG based on my experience to date.

I've worked with a handful of personal trainers at different gyms but nothing was like having my trainer, Cedric, bring the gym right into my living room at 5:30am! His company, Get Bodied Services, was truly a blessing in my life! Because of my work schedule, it had been challenging to keep up with going to the gym and my hard-earned money was going to waste on my gym membership. After giving Cedric a try for 2-3 sessions a week, not only did it cost less than ONE session at my old gym, but I lost over 20lbs and several inches from my waist/thighs in three months!! Carlos is the secret, the real deal. At first I was hesitant about paying for a trainer. I thought I knew it all about exercise being fairly athletic. I also thought that only celebrities had personal trainers and paid dearly for them…until I met Carlos. I didn’t just get a fitness trainer I have an accessible counselor that guides me in exercise, nutrition, and everyday conditioning. Excellent personal trainer. Has a very strong knowledge of human body structure (as a medic, I can see that). Knows many ways to approach each muscle group, so the routines change frequently and you don't get locked in doing the same exercise over and over. Seems that he knows very well where the person's limitations are, and will guide you to a point when you really work up to your limit, but without going overboard. Also, gives very effective "homework assignments" to practice on your own, in between sessions. After working for the last 2 months, my upper body strength has improved drastically, as evidenced by the number of reps I can do now, with a higher weight then in the beginning. I am looking forward to the future results.

Kevin is truly a ' best in world' trainer. I can't say enough about Kevin but please read this and hopefully you'll have a better idea of how he has changed my life on a very personal level. Signing up with NBI Fitness is probably one of the best things I could've ever done for myself. Trinnie and Gilbert are great and are currently helping me reach my dream health/body goals. The trainers truly care about their clients and are always pushing me to make sure I am doing all that is necessary to lose weight, tone up and build a healthy life style for myself. They also tell you what you should and should not be eating according to your fitness goal. Most importantly, I work and go to school full time therefore, it is difficult to work out with such a hectic schedule, BUT they literally make sure to work with whatever times works best for me even if its going out of their way. Gil is excellent and although willing to adapt the workout to what you want, it is always an intense workout, which I love. I didn't like the previous gym he was at but stayed only because of his personal training. I just joined the new gym that he works at and am glad he changed because he picked a gym that I really. He recently introduced his partner Trini to the programme and she is also a very versatile trainer who knows her stuff and gives intense workouts.
