"I am writing this to let the world know of one of the greatest person I have had the pleasure of coming across the gym in the many years of working out. Who am I talking about, William Nguyen, aka better known as Will of course. I have known Will for many years now, I met him at the 24 Fitness located in Diary Ashford, in Houston Texas. I remembered Will coming to the 24hr Fitness as a personal trainer, he was always focus on his task at hand, which was training his client. He caught my attention, because if how focus and determine he was in making sure the client was well trained. Believe me when I say, " Those are hard, and far in between to find in many personal trainers that I have observed in the many years of working out. " Will is very dedicated to his training, and I have seen him grow as a person, and trainer. Will has never change is way of taking care of his clients, he just continued to get better at his job. Will takes is training seriously, he has recently taken his training, and body to a new level. He is now competing and doing an excellent job at it. I see nothing but greatness for this young man, he is one of a kind. I would not hesitate to hire Will to train me. He is worth more than I can put in words. If you don't believe a word I say, check him out for yourself, you will not be disappointed. Will Power Fitness."

"Karen is an intense ray of sunshine in my dark world of poor eating habits and erratic gym workouts. I found Karen on her Instagram page (@karenfittraining). She responded quickly and we met days later. Karen has a background in sports fitness training which brings a fresh perspective to personal training. She’s funny and easy to work with. I’m not always feeling motivated but Karen helps me persevere to accomplish my goals. What are YOU waiting for? Highly recommend."

"Where do I even begin?? I've been working out with Brian for going on 9 weeks now and it's awesome. Brian is knowledgeable, personable, and supportive. He works with you one-on-one to customize the workout session to suit both your strengths and weaknesses. Just when you when think things are beginning to get easy he tweaks your routine and steps it up a few notches to keep you motivated and improving. There's simply no excuse to not give him a try. I believe he's the best personal trainer around & his meal plans actually work. 😆 So whatcha waiting for...."

"Darren has been my personal trainer for about 10 months now and I am so grateful that my wife discovered his profile on Thumbtack. I wholeheartedly endorse him for anyone considering embarking on a new fitness goal or even for seasoned athletes looking for a jolt if their existing routine has gotten stale. Darren not only excels in the physical aspect of training, but he also brings a balanced mental component to our sessions. As anyone can attest who's recently started to workout after a long layoff, the hardest part is starting. What they also don't tell you is that maintaining your workouts is probably the next hardest hurdle to tackle. But that's where Darren really shines. Under Darren's tutelage, I've become accountable to myself and I really look forward to my sessions to see what new exercises we'll incorporate or to try and beat my weightlifting bests. I would classify Darren's workout management as 'adaptive'; that is, he can take what he's given in terms of available equipment, or if the gym is too crowded on a given day, and craft a workout routine that is challenging and never boring (he takes what's he's given and makes lemonade from lemons). I think that boredom is responsible for more broken fitness promises than any other factor. With Darren as my trainer, I've never been bored and almost a year later I don't think we've ever repeated a workout! With Darren as my trainer I've been steadily increasing my strength gains while steadily shedding excess weight and improving my cardio fitness. Darren also provides nutritional counseling, rehabilitative training, and he will travel to your home or business for your workout needs. He really is my 'health and fitness concierge,' and anyone considering personal training services shouldn't pass up the opportunity to train with Darren. Robert N."

"Ive tried personal trainers a handful of times and most want to spend the first several classes talking about goals and package commitments. Day 1 with Alex was straight to business. The style is pure body weight and core exercises so theres no cheating or sugarcoating with weight training. Alex attention to detail stuck out immediately altering exercises and stretches to facilitate my strengths and weaknesses. His first two classes were free to ensure his style and program was what I was looking for. Im just in the beginning stages of getting where I want to be physically but I’m certain with Alex that I will be there sooner than later."

"Greg is my personal trainer at Houston Gym. At the request of my naturopathic and primary care physicians, I was instructed to begin a resistance training program to address a few health issues. I was skeptical of personal training, was unsure of my capacity to "stick-to-it" and achieve my aims. The owner of the gym suggested I work out with Greg. 2 months later, I am in better shape than in my 30s (I'm 54). Greg is conscientious, knowledgeable, skilled and is exemplary at tailoring my workout to fit my aims. He knows how to vary a work out (upper and lower) to address not only groups of muscles but refine the workout so as to address specific muscles that need toning. His attention to detail helped me calibrate and equalize what seemed to be an strength imbalance between my left and right sides (very odd). He is also quite patient, truly listens and varies the workout routine to keep it building my body without the boredom that can be possible in working out. Not only is Greg a great trainer, but he also is quite knowledgeable about the body's musculoskeletal system and the nature of injuries to the system. I recently had a shoulder injury (doing upward dog in yoga); and had to see an orthopedic specialist. Greg was very sensitive to the doctors instructions and modified my upper body workouts in such a manner that I can continue to build my upper body at the same time give my shoulder injury time to heal. Without question, the reason I'm still with Greg as my personal trainer is that he makes it a challenge, yet always within my range. Highly recommend Greg"

"Sean is awesome. I have been working with him since late December. When I asked Thumbtack for personal trainers and reached out to several of them, he was the first to respond and has been great ever since. It's been a while since I last worked out so I wanted a trainer who was certified and would not end up hurting me. Sean is very careful about pushing me to my limits but not overdoing anything. He's also working on strengthening some areas that have been long injured by life. I would whole heartedly endorse Sean."

"Jose is an amazing personal trainer. I didn't realize how important is food for life. He taught me to eat healthy. It is not about a meal plan. I finally changed my life losing weight and now I know what and when to eat. Definitely great trainer, great nutritionist and great human being!!!"
