Wade went above and beyond for our first lesson. Even prior to the first lesson I received a sheet with concepts to practice for (tailored to my request). During the lesson Wade had both the piano and face view, so remote lessons were effective as well.

I have been taking piano lessons from Chris for approximately a year now and love it. As a 25 year old learning to play the piano from pretty much square 1 he has been an ideal fit- the antithesis of the intimidating hyper strict boring lady I remembered taking lessons from when I was six. Chris provides you with constructive feedback and helpful piano exercises which improve your technique and overall ability to play well. Also, thanks to his patience and guidance, he helped me learn a song I really wanted to be able to play even when it was kinda out of my league. Great dude. Great lessons. Great degu. yeah, he has a pet degu.

Lessons In Your Home
I decided to not continue beyond one lesson with Lessons In Your Home because of the poor communication and management. I only wanted one lesson, but was frustrated and shocked to realize they automatically enroll you in weekly lessons unless you cancel.
Of the four schools I explored, this one was the most difficult and complicated to communicate with (and the most expensive). My issue was not with my piano teacher, just the management.
Side note to Scott: If you don't offer free trials, I recommend you require payments prior to sessions, rather than chase down students to pay after a session. It may be easier for you.

Piano Lessons with Shien Yuin
I signed up my 4 year old for piano lessons a couple of weeks ago, and we’ve had a few trails lessons with other teacher- and we just knew that Shien Yuin was the perfect match for my little guy- she is very patience, professional, and definitely knows her stuff! The best part is that she makes it fun because my little guy tends to lose focus at times-We are so pleased and happy to be working with her.

Piano Lessons with Shien Yuin
After reviewing four different piano instructors, it was a no-brainer to go with Shien Yuin. As someone hesitant to pursue virtual lessons over in-person, I was quickly impressed by Shien's use of technology to make the session's incredibly valuable. She is able to catch even the slightest mistakes I make with fingering & even has a piano set-up in her studio to show me exactly how to improve my skills. I like that our sessions are fast-paced, and I always leave feeling like my skills are getting stronger. She is a great teacher, knows her stuff and makes classes enjoyable. Thank you!
