Zacki has been a life saver for me as I manage the care of someone seriously ill. We enjoy her meals -- the variety is great,Maron old favorites like Barbeque to new taste treats. Zacki understands how to be unobtrusive help and to meet a changing schedule.
OMG! Where do I begin. Emma was AMAZING. We were celebrating a late Valentine's Day and she was perfect. We needed Emma as a personal, intimate evening chef for 2. She arrived on time and instantly got to work. She allowed us privacy while also engaging in conversation. Emma was AMAZING. The aroma coming from the kitchen was something I later laid in bed wishing I could smell over and over. And let's not talk about the FOOD!! OMG. On our evening menu was TENDER, JUICY, AND SUCCULENT Chicken Breast, along with Green beans, and garlic mashed potatoes. AND OMG! It was nothing like we had never tasted before. Emma is truly a Gem and is great at what she does. She has an amazing story to share and would definitely recommend her to ANYONE. We will be using her for all of our future catering and personal chef needs.
For my mom's 70th birthday, we decided to have a surprise dinner party. (For the record, I'm a professional event planner based in DC and work with a number of hotels, chefs and caterers.) After talking to Chef Nico for less than a minute, I knew he was the one for this special occasion. He came up with a super creative menu, was attentive to every detail, and enchanted all of the dinner guests. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!
I have never tasted such good cakes made to order. I have missed Katelyn immensely since she left Charlotte to move to Raleigh. She is the best pastry chef. You will not regret ordering from her. My favorite carrot cake and the apple with spice. Miss you girl!!!
Stephanie is a fantastic pastry chef! HIGLY RECOMMEND HIRING HER! I got my bag for buck and then some tasty cake :)
We ordered the cheesecake cupcakes for a small wedding reception and they were delicious! The guests really enjoyed them.
First let me say that Lewis is a world class chef. The food was exceptional. I am retired Army (35 years) and have traveled the world and I am not saying this lightly...Amazing food. Secondly his professional concern for making every detail perfect for our wedding was superb. One of the nicest, friendliest and knowledgeable people I have met (as well as his wife and assistant Lynne). His care, concern and talent - made our wedding extra special for us and all of our guests. On a scale of 1-5 I would give him a 10+ !! Thanks

Oak and Dagger was a pleasure to work with start to finish-- from the planning of our event to the execution! Our particular event was a 50-60 guest “meet and mingle” with some business training mixed in. We did an hour of “brews and bites” followed by a PowerPoint seminar and Q&A session, spending the remainder of our evening socializing and relaxing in the fun brewery atmosphere with our customers. Oak and Dagger was an excellent venue for this with their back bar dedicated to our event, and the semi-private seating area was ideal for our presentation. Assistant General Manager Rachel Bender responded quickly to my information request with details, pricing, and availability. Chef Monica Molina worked with me on selecting food and beverages to fit our budget and a range of tastes and it was delicious and presented well-- not your average, boring banquet food. On-site, the event staff was friendly, helpful, and pro-active in meeting our needs for setup, service, and breakdown-- thank you to our server, Drew, and bartender, Duke. Their location is convenient and easy to find, and parking is ample and free. Whether you’re planning a personal or business event, this professional event planner highly recommends considering Oak and Dagger Public House!
Terri was wonderful and personable. it was a little chaotic whens he arrived from allof us being tired after the wedding the day before. She came in took charge and set everything up. the food was delicious. I am trying to find an excuse to use hr services again. .
Maggie was an incredible caterer to work with! I'm so glad she reached out to me. My husband and I are vegan, so it was important to us to find a caterer that could create tasty, plant-based food for our wedding. Maggie was able to craft a menu with dishes from around the world and we received a ton of compliments during dinner from our guests on the food. From grandparents, to fellow vegans, the food was a hit! She and her team exceeded my expectations and helped make our wedding a night to remember :) Thank you Chef Maggie!
