I encouraged my soon-to-be wife to hire Barbara in order to balance the chaos of too many Pinterest boards, and to assist with "day of" coordination (setup, vendor point of contact, and scheduling). Without a doubt, I am so thankful we did have Barbara with us. Several pre-wedding meetings helped rein in and focus the design attributes and theme of the wedding and reception, and logistics such as floor layout and alternate poor-weather plans were great stress-relievers. Barbara's pleasant, unruffled demeanor and easy problem-solving quietly saved the day multiple times. I highly recommend Barbara for any event planning and coordinating, but most especially for a DIY-minded bride (and groom)!
Minister Boone was above and beyond what we ever expected, the ceremony he prepared for our daughters wedding was the most beautiful that we've ever heard.He was a blessing in disguise for us.Very pleasant with all our guest very helpful in any way he could.We were very pleased with his services and plan to use him for all our other events too be.
We hired Hailey to help with day of coordination for our 100-person wedding on March 31, 2018. Even before our wedding day Hailey was so much more than a day-of-coordinator and helped out so much. She spent time thinking about logistics and walking us through what we would need and the things we hadn't considered yet and we were very thankful for her insight. We were particularly impressed with how she handled our rehearsal since we had a very large wedding party (16 members) and a large family to wrangle in. It was clear that she knew what she was doing. There were a few minor hiccups on the day of but overall she is 100% worthy of hiring as a wedding coordinator.
I was a very "hands off" bride as I was accepted into law school after my husband and I already set our wedding day. Emmetria connected us with a fabulous caterer (Queenie's Delectable Delights) and super awesome photographers (Mia & Taffy). I needed a wedding planner that could literally just tell me when to show up and what to do (especially after I learned that my midterms were scheduled to begin the Monday AFTER my wedding weekend). We had a fabulous wedding. I am still getting compliments from our guests on the fact that our ceremony and reception were so well coordinated. I went "bridezilla in reverse" because I was so apathetic about the details of my wedding the closer the date approached. I had to step away from 95% of the planning 60-days out from the date to prepare for my first semester of law school. I do not recommend starting law school and getting married at the same time; but, if you must, your wedding is safe with Emmetria. Also, we live in Houston and Emmetria lives in Austin. She drove to Houston for our initial consultation and after we hired her, I never felt like I was working with an out-of-town wedding planner. Ahh Emmetria, I know I gave her hell, but she was 100% professional from beginning to end. My husband and I had several "freak out" moments but Emmetria let our irrational moments of insanity slide right off her shoulders.
I own a planning company. I've hired One Of A Kind Entertainment for numerous events the last couple years. I left a review after our first event. But since I received such a great response from this last client of mines wedding that I felt obligated to leave a review. I hired a String Trio, DJ & 2 Bartenders. They all did an amazing job! And for the price, it was unbelievable. Extremely professional & very experienced. String Musician received allot of compliments for the ceremony. The DJ not only played exactly what we asked and attended to every announcement, but he also read the crowd really well and kept all my guests dancing all night. No way I would have received the quality of this service, for the price, anywhere else. Their bartenders were extremely loved by our guests. They setup on time, were swift, polite, experienced, enthusiastic, and fun. They knew how to run the Margarita Machine & tap the keg. They even helped bus tables & serve food because a couple of our servers from our catering company, didn't show up. They helped me with my purchase of alcohol & mixers, which saved me 100's of dollars. One of my guests had known the female bartender from "The Craft" downtown, which I feel speaks allot for the quality of staff they have. They have a rather precise reservation process which they prefer to do over the phone, that I feel is really smart because it allows for no errors to happen that could compicate the actual service. For this companies price and quality of service I must assume it's run by a smaller crew, which is why I feel they have this particular reservation process, via phone call. Every venue I've used them on have verified their insurance & greatly enjoyed their staff. I am really happy that I found them because theyve saved me allot of money over the years and all my clients have had nothing but amazing things to say about the services they've provided. If you want a very simple reservation process and a company that really cares about providing you a great service, not just making money off of you, hire this company.
Evelyn coordinated our wedding and knocked it out of the park! It was kind of a crazy day for us because we were having an outdoor wedding and 3 hours before service it started pouring rain. Evelyn handled it like a pro and kept us all calm and helped us figure out what to do and even created a quick contingency plan for us if the rain persisted. All the little things along the way that slipped our minds (setting out bread and wine for communion, getting our champagne flutes ready before toasts began, etc.) she took care of it all for us. She is a pro! Moreover, her correspondence during the planning phase was fantastic! She was very organized and helped us think through all the possible things that could go wrong and presented us with solutions. She made a very handy timeline for us on when everything should be happening during the big day. Also, I should point out that she was very gracious in her day-of coordinating. I've seen wedding coordinators who are very domineering and rude to people, but that is NOT Evelyn! We just can't say enough good things about the work she did!

Veronica blew me away! I did hourly consultations with her for my wedding, and she brought my attention to details I had never even thought of. Veronica is an excellent communicator, and from the moment I started speaking with her my planning process became smoother. We discussed budget, vendors, layout, staffing, and décor. I was especially impressed with her vendor recommendations, which removed the stress of spending hours online reading reviews and looking through websites. Veronica is in contact at all times, and I was extremely impressed by her customer service and responsiveness. I initially thought I could pull off planning a wedding without any consultations, but I am so thankful I was convinced otherwise.
Rachann was amazing. She handled our rehearsal dinner for us and left out no detail. She is very easy to get a hold of and so great to work with.
