I received many offers through Thumbtack for a personal trainer. But I have to say that choosing Joshua Galbreath was the smartest decision I could have made!! He is beyond awesome!! The gym is well equipped with everything required to become a stronger and healthier new you! Plus it's not just a gym, it's more like a family. After a few sessions I didn't feel like I was working with a trainer, it's more like working out with a big brother!! Plus all the trainers at this gym actually text and call you to see how your feeling, and it's not just about the workouts they actually show interest in what's going on in your everyday life!! They go way past the extra mile, and truly care about their clients/friends!! I recommend this gym to everyone that truly wants to make life changes that will stick with you so the weight that comes off stays off!!! So to put it plainly, if you are truly motivated to make life changes this is the place you wanna be!! It was my first time using Thumbtack - My wife and I decided to look for a personal trainer. After going thru some choices that were narrowed down to our liking, we shot off rate/quote request to about 5 personal trainers nearby. To start off, what I liked about Zak was that I got a call from him IMMEDIATELY. Showed that he was serious, so I took the call and had a brief discussion on what we were looking for. Moving on to first meeting.. First meeting was free and during that time, he really took the time to get to know our needs, strengths, study our posture and make corrective suggestions. After the session, prices were discussed and on we go. There you have it - Simple, no hassle or obligation to we were signed up for his training. For people who are looking for a personal trainer, I know this can be a virgin territory. It certainly was for us. Zak understood that and took us from the basics. He offers nutrition programs (which is included in the rate for training - Can't be that). Nutrition program is designed for each individual and not that one plan fits all. My workouts are far different from my wife's workout. He has tremendous knowledge in what he is doing and is a dedicated student in learning more himself. Very respectful and a humble individual he is. We get weighed in end of every week and progress is recorded. You can really tell that he cares for your goals and not like other trainer that I've heard horror stories about, who only care about the money. With Zak, you are not just his paycheck - he truly cares for the well being. Zak being a powerlifter, he has shared many tips on better posture, better workout, and muscle recovery remedies. It's unusual for me to write a review online for anything, but when I know that I'm working with the best and with a person who is honest and genuinely cares for people, the least I can do is to pay it forward and let everyone know about what Zak has to offer. I have had few personal trainers in my quest to reach my goals in fitness for the past 3 years. So, this is not a new year resolution for me. Recently, my TWO!!!! different personal trainers have become a little hard to establish a routine. My overall progress in strength, cardio and flexibility have stalled. Having a bad lower doesn't help, but with a KNOWLEDGEABLE professional trainer, the sky is the limit. Enter here Adam Smith. He is what I was lacking to reach the next level. Adam was quick to communicate, easy to schedule and was on time. Today after my first session, I can tell I finally got a Professional Trainer, that knows his trade. The session was ALL fun, full of new challenges and most important safe to my lower back. The Kickboxing part was an eye opening fun experience. Having a Karate background, I felt back at home. Can't wait for the next session in 3 days. I guess that the saying: "Can't teach an old dog new tricks", doesn't apply to me. At 55 years young, I am ready to learn and kick some serious........ ;-) If you are stuck in your fitness journey or are looking for a lifestyle change, don't waste time and call Adam. I've worked with personal trainers over the past 25+ years. Hands down, Adam Smith is the best I've ever trained with, ever. I'm grateful for the opportunity to train with him over the past 5 years or so. He is extremely knowledgeable about everything fitness, and also nutrition (including specific diets like vegan, etc). As a matter of fact, it was Adam who helped me to identify Power Lifting as a competitive sport, and then trained me to win my 2014 SoCal Gold Medal. Adam has helped me transform my body by decreasing fat while increasing my muscle mass!! I never know my body could look like it does today. He really cares about the well being of his clients, and has become a dear friend over the years. Ruby went above and beyond her duties as a trainer to make me feel comfortable. She pushed me hard enough to get the results I wanted but never forced me to do something I wasn't fully ready for. She provided excellent nutritional counseling and tought me all about what foods are right/ wrong for my body. Most importantly she supported me far beyond what I would have ever expected from a personal trainer and went out of her way to help me improve my health. When my sessions were up after 6 weeks I not only lost 15 pounds but we formed a friendship as well. Nisha is amazing to have as a trainer!!! She makes time for me despite my horribly busy work schedule which was the first step I needed to get going. She is great at gauging your fitness level and creating workouts for you that are challenging but not impossible to complete for where you are with your fitness. It keeps my motivation going and I leave each workout feeling great (and tired in a good way.) She doesn't let you wimp out when she knows you're not giving it your all (I need this!) but she also knows when to dial it down. She listens to her clients and won't push you beyond what you can do. I have a bad back and she is very good at coming up with exercises that don't exacerbate it and I actually have felt better since my core has gotten stronger to support it. She will also reach out and text you when you least expect it to check on your progress and give you a boost of motivation. I highly recommend her to anyone that wants to make a change and feel better physically and mentally. I have been going to her for a couple of months now and i can already tell a difference in the way I look and feel. It doesn't happen overnight but she will get you in that place where working out is a habit and a part of your life and not something you dread each week. Give her a try! You won't regret it :)

Nish is one of the best personal trainers in the Dallas metroplex..I've tried so many PT and none of them wasn't a good fit either they weren't professional or they were drill sergeants or they were only their fo the money... Having Evan as my trainer has changed me. Unlike some trainers, Evan's creativity in strength training is different from the rest, not to mention his positive fun personality really keeps you motivated and in check. He really cares about his clients healthy well being. I went in weighing 155lbs; by going to his group class a few times a week and eating right I dropped down to 127lbs. Losing 22 inches of fat. Evan, Joey and Ted are GREAT trainers! Each one of them knows how to motivate you to give your maximum effort during a workout. Workouts are challenging and fun, and you NEVER do the same workout twice. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or professional athlete you'll be amazed w the knowledge and help you'll get here. Individual, couple, or small group training. They have it all!! Difference between Get FHIIT and other places, private means private (not a gym full of people) and true knowledge and education well beyond just personal trainers certification. Get your scale and your muscles moving in the right direction. If they have an opening, you should try them out. If they are no longer taking new clients, get on the wait list. It's worth a try and worth the wait. Personally, I drive 45 minutes one way, the results are worth my time.

During that time, he rehabbed me through a serious rotator cuff tear (helping me to heal without surgery) various knee issues (as I've aged) and in general, has helped me maintain a high level of health and fitness through my forties and fifties. Along with remaining highly knowledgable and current in his field, Brad's professionalism is impeccable. Dara worked with me for nearly 9 months until I developed additional medical issues that required hospitalization and then regretfully moved from the Saginaw area to Keller. As an insulin dependent diabetic Dara researched for what would be the best exercise program before making the commitment to be my trainer. Dara explained she wanted to make sure "she could help me." I was a mess, no core ability or strength and lack of muscle in legs and arms. For 6 weeks we concentrated on core development and balance .... what a change in my life. I have hired personal trainers in the past and Jennifer is on the top of my list. At first, I was skeptical about hiring a trainer without a facility who preferred to meet with you at your home. But after meeting for the first few times at a local park, I have come to prefer our outside sessions. Jennifer is knowledgeable on nutrition, posture, and routines that target specific muscles. She takes pride in giving her clients the best results and works hard to leave you with an abundance of knowledge to take with you. I have learned that the gym is not the only place to get a great workout.
