Pastor Brown made our ceremony flow seamlessly. My husband and I were so great full that he was available to talk to us a week before our wedding to help ease my mind with how things will go, our ceremony was exactly how we pictured it. I loved that he added the canvas paint unity ceremony even though he's never done one. My husband was greatful that he was able to perform the 13 coin ceremony that is tradition on his side of the family. Pastor Brown and his wife are wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone.

I hired Shawn Nichols for a corporate event which took place in late February 2016. Shawn definitely deserves all five (if I could give any more, I would) stars and a glowing review! I will admit I was hesitant to hire someone off Thumbtack – it was my first experience using Thumbtack and I didn’t quite know what to expect – but he blew it out of the park, completely delivered and really exceeded any of my expectations, with his work for this event! Shawn is going places with his photography, professionalism and strong work ethic and I look forward to following his career. Part of me hates to write such a great review for my own selfish reasons – I want him for all of our events! :] Shawn was hired for our annual corporate Employee Appreciation Event, which I fully planned (and attended) for the first year since starting with my company. One of the things I had noticed about previous years’ events was the lack of good photography. I had seen previous years’ photos and thought they really left something to be desired. When I put out a bid on Thumbtack looking for photographers, Shawn’s website and artwork jumped out immediately, I believed he could deliver. I spoke with him first on the phone and let him know what I was looking for – more artistic shots – and his time, thoroughness and genuine excitement was clearly evident from our phone call. It seemed like he was exactly who I was looking for. About a month before the event, I called Shawn and asked him if he could meet me for coffee that week, to have about a fifteen minute meeting to discuss some items for the party. He went out of his way (literally) to be flexible to my schedule and that fifteen minute meeting turned in to over an hour of his time sitting in Starbucks and talking Photography. From there, he then drove with me to Joann Fabrics to hand-select a backdrop for the event that would photograph well and tailored to my vision. This whole afternoon he spent meeting with me and shopping for photography backgrounds was unpaid. He didn’t have to do these extra things, he just did – he was really going above and beyond before the event even took place! Fast forward to the day of the event. Shawn and his two assistants (oh yeah – he brought two additional photographers to help him capture the night. I really felt we got a huge deal here because for the price of one photographer, we really got three! This was just another way Shawn went out of his way to ensure our event success) came a few hours early to set up one of our photography station backgrounds, and the get shots of a list of things before the event started. Leading up to the event, Shawn was incredible thorough in his communications; answering phone calls and emails quickly and in detail. He even thought of details I hadn’t and prompted me to provide a list of shots I wanted to get prior to the event, during the event, asked for an event timeline and for specific individuals whom he and his assistants should be aware of. I really appreciated those questions in retrospect, as I think they really added to the coverage of the event, and with the laundry list of to-dos I had leading up to the party, I appreciated him taking the time and initiative to look out for our ultimate priorities – photography and otherwise. Shawn and his assistants Rachel and Jeremiah were extremely professional, gracious, thoughtful to guests and efficient. They not only succeeded in my hopes for an hour of couple photos as guests arrived, then roaming event coverage; all three of them really went above and beyond to make sure every shot on that shot list was completed. Our guests loved having the backdrop couple photos, and I loved having all three of them there photographing – it was amazing to get the extra coverage during that couple photo hour that I didn’t know we would have! Shawn let me know the timeline of when I should expect photos delivered back, as the party wrapped up that night, but delivered a few days earlier. He met every goal I had with the photography aspect of the event. I told him several times that he was the easiest/best/nicest/most efficient vendor or staff I had working on our event, and I really do mean that. The photos back to me were in several files, so easy to open and access, and ranked by him in order of importance (for me). His love of photography and art is intrinsic and clear in his work. His photographs are beautiful and really highlighted the event for me, my company and so many of our guests. I look forward to having – and using – these photographs for years to come! During the time I was planning the event, and had been working with Shawn, I saw another opportunity come up within my company which I suggested Shawn, and he was hired for. Those pictures came back prior to our event, and when I saw those beautiful photos, I knew i was going to be happy with his work on the event. I can’t say enough great things about Shawn Nichols. You are lucky if you get the opportunity to hire him for any event, wedding, party, or general photography needs. Shawn will make you feel like you are his only client, and will really take your vision and bring it to life. He is so genuine and charismatic and it is wonderful to see someone excel at something they love, and do so well! I look forward to working with Shawn (and hopefully Rachel and Jeremiah too!) on any future business, event or personal photography needs I have!

Great wedding officiant, pastor Jose communicated very well with me throughout the whole experience, was available for any questions I had and was flexible with all my special needs. He was very punctual and patient even though I was the late one. Our wedding was small but he rolled right along with our group. Thank you for making our day so wonderful and giving us such a beautiful ceremony overlooking the water at dusk. You are a very kind, funny, and patient man and a perfect fit for the ceremony I was hoping for. I was concerned about having such a small wedding and getting a "quicky" wedding service but you went above all my expectations and gave us a truly beautiful ceremony whether I had 10 people there or 100. His pictures completely exceeded our expectations..We loved his photojournalistic style and how we barely knew he was there all day...yet somehow he captured all of the important moments! He really has a passion for his work and he could be charging a lot more than he does. He is very responsive to e-mails and questions. I really don't have a bad thing to say about the whole experience. our original officant fell ill and 2 weeks before our wedding we contacted reverand martinez. he did a superb job officeanting our wedding. he gave us a great ceremony. He put in his own prayer and said a nice word about my mother in law that passed away just before the wedding. Would highly recommend him for your wedding.

Lynn IS AWESOME! It was two months before our wedding and I was getting nervous because the person that I was going to have work on my dress kept putting me off, so I decided to find someone else. Not only did Lynn finish my dress a WEEK early, but she put the most gorgeous double bustle in my dress, at an EXTREMELY reasonable price. She is so sweet and prompt at returning calls and answering questions. I have to say at the beginning we were not to convinced about having a wedding planner. Then we realized that it was our day and we didn't want to be running around like crazy the day of our wedding. We started looking and saw that you can have a coordinator for the day. We were trying to save some money. I met Michelle at the wedding expo. I stopped just to ask about there service and she was very nice, professional and helpful. We set an appointment and from there we realized it was well worth it. They listened to our ideas, our concerns and to everything. They gave us ideas and lots of info. Everything was perfect the day of the wedding. Nichole did an amazing job. To this day we have a lot of friends and family members who give us a lot of good compliments about our wedding. They also commented on how organized, smooth, beautiful and how wonderful of a job she did. I highly recommend Michelle and her team. Nichole took a big weight off of our shoulders. She was on top of everything. If you are thinking of having a wedding it is worth it to have a wedding planner. I highly recommend it because you will not regret it a bit. I attended one of Tanya's events, Happy Hour for Hope link, back in December. I was impressed with how well it was put together. There was great food, drinks, music and company. I saw that she raised a good amount of money, food and diapers for this cause. I love donating to charities as much as I can. This was such a great way to get more people to join. I will definitely be attending her next event, and if I need help planning one of my own I will hire her. I would fully trust Tanya Marie Design and Event Planning to make any event a success and I would recommend her to others. :)

Jacob Christensen filmed my drum cover videos at Rehearsal Works in Sumner, WA. Working with him was amazing! I was early to the shoot so I could set up drums but when I got there he was already 90% set up. He catered to every request I had without question. The videos was done the same day they were recorded: editing, intros, outros, everything. Jacob is an outstanding worker and I highly recommend him to anybody needing media work! His services are a 10/10 in my book, the work is phenomenal and he's a great and easygoing guy to work with.

We hired Amanda as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding at Inglewood Golf Club on July 26th 2014. From day one she made us feel at ease and took all of the stress from the planning process. Her knowledge and experience was very helpful and her attention to detail was amazing. But that was just the tip of the Iceberg! On the actual day Amanda was simply outstanding. She arrived early and did above and beyond to ensure our day went smoothly and exactly as we envisioned. She ensure every little detail was perfect and we had nothing to do but enjoy the day to the fullest. Cassie is amazing! You get so much with Cassie, way more than what you actually pay for. I would hire Cassie again in a heartbeat! About four months away from the wedding, my family decided to switch venues. Instead of 120 guests, we now had 40. Along with that decision, my parents decided that a wedding coordinator was not necessary. About two months before the wedding they had a change of heart! They asked me to search for an available wedding Coordinator. I wasn't even sure I would be able to find someone that quickly. Luckily I found Thumbtack.com, and that’s how I was introduced to Cassie Isackson. I picked Cassie from a list of 8 separate offers. Cassie sounded very genuine and she responded to my inquiries right away. I was impressed with Cassie right from the start! She is so easy to get along with and it’s quite apparent that she really knows what she’s doing! There were no hiccups during the planning process and most importantly the actual wedding! She took care of all the important details. She orchestrated everything, and I mean everything! She coordinated with all the vendors including the florist, helped with set-up, rehearsal walk through, seating arrangements, ceremony, and so much more! It really made the last two months of planning go smoothly. It goes to show that even a smaller wedding needs a wedding coordinator. Cassie was a true lifesaver! My wedding was spectacular, and Cassie definitely played a major role in making that happen! She was a little bee buzzing around everywhere!
