I think they spent around 5 hours on site here, and the job was done well. I got a better value from the Mainline Hunter price bid (compared to another outfit). They explained and showed in a video that I do have a deeper plumbing issue of clogging and gunk downstream from the work site; that will require another project for another day. This is to be expected from the 101 year old house I live in. For now, the leakage problem is solved - no more dripping water from the kitchen ceiling."See more

After discovering a leak in the copper pipe that drained our kitchen sink we were told our sixty-year old galvanized pipe had to be replaced.We received quotes from four other plumbing contractors. It was obvious the other plumbers did not have a lot of experience re-piping whole houses. Some horrified us as to how much of our walls would be torn open.I kept hearing a commercial in my head for re-piping. It finally came to me, Repipe Specialists. I called and Scott showed up.Unlike all of the plumbing contractors, Scott didn't want to inspect every plumbing fixture. He said they do so many homes he just needs to know how many fixtures we have. In few minutes we had a quote (one contractor still hasn't sent his quote). The price was lower than all the others whether copper or PEX and included repairing any drywall that had to be removed. Scott made it too easy not to hire him.In a few days, his crew showed up on time. By the end of the day all of our water pipes were replaced. I called Best Bay Plumbing about a clogged toilet. Abel responded right away and came within an hour. He gave an estimate to clear the clog if it was in the toilet but it was not. He left for an hour and came back with one of his associates. He broke out the big rooter, removed the toilet and went after the clog. An hour later the clog was gone, the toilet was reseated with a new seal, and the bathroom was clean. Throughout, Abel was polite and professional, kept us informed, and explained our options. Navruz did a great job with the shower valve which needed replacing immediately as the water wouldn’t stop flowing. He was very responsive and completed the job the same day as it was urgent for us. His pricing was also competitive and he charged $600 lesser than the other quote we received. He was honest about the labor charge and the part pricing as well. Also when I showed him a bathroom to be remodeling he was honest and said he could do it but that bathroom was in good condition and quality so didn’t need redoing at this time. My appointment was for 9-11 in the morning. The technician arrived at 9 on the dot. I showed him the problem - clogged bathroom sink - and he told me it might be only cleaning out near the drain and trap. If that wasn't enough, for a bit more money he could snake the whole pipe. I reached out to several services on here and Martin responded promptly. He gave me a call which was proactive and we were able to get me scheduled within 30 minutes.

He was really efficient and got the job done. My bathroom sink and bathtub are no longer clogged, the drainage works perfectly.

Pricing was fair and straightforward without egregious fees here and there as I’ve seen with other places.

It was easy to make payment as well; Martin accepted many forms of payment - I went with Venmo.

Overall a really satisfactory experience with the service. I was very irritated by this drainage issue but Martin helped me handle it with ease.

Bueno Plumbing was awesome. I originally contacted them through the Thumbtack application because I didn't have any Hot Water pressure.

They offered to come out same day. We opted for the next day. They did a water diagnostic and found that my water heater finally died. Edgar was great.

Jimmy came the following Monday. Swapped out the water heater and repaired a valve in the bathroom shower.

Everyone I spoke to was extremely professional, polite, and quick. They aren't the cheapest, not the most expensive, but a bargain for the quality of service
