Needs to improve communication and follow-up. Repair to our Samsung fridge and freezer took 6 days total. I had to continue to call, requested call backs that were never completed. Initial repair to fridge was great but broke the fan in the freezer. Took 3 days to return to fix freezer. Lost $50 worth of frozen food. Technician was fine but terrible communication from company. Cannot recommend

Update after they messaged me with a complete timeline: My freezer stopped working and I hired First Appliance Repair & HVAC to fix this issue. The technician charged me ~$2,000 to replace the compressor. Within 2 weeks, the freezer stopped working again and I had to consistently ping them to send someone to diagnose the problem. This time they diagnosed it as a refridgerant leak and fixed it. Within 3 months after the second fix, the freezer stopped working and this time they are not picking my calls. I got another appliance repair professional to look at the problem and they diagnosed that the original compressor that they installed has failed. I am disgusted that the company's representative is trying to pass it off as another refrigerant leak.

We had a keezer (customized chest freezer for storing beer) that stopped working. Max from appliance repair Bay Area was prompt and quickly diagnosed that there was a leak. Gave estimate, ordered parts to be shipped overnight, came back next day at the exact time he said he would and fixed it. Did not have to throw away any food. Grateful he was available with such short notice.

Extremely thorough, he saved money by telling us the truth, that our 27-year-old, still working dryer repair would cost more in parts than to buy a new dryer. His phone gets part prices, and you get an accurate quote of the work he will do. Also, he saved us money by telling my husband how to fix our freezer. Very respectful and honest, he also was punctual. It doesn't get better than this.

This was a horrible experience. The technician wasn’t confident. He suggested repair that he performed. Couldn’t guarantee his work. 350$ short and the freezer is still not working. It still has the same issue. I have called them multiple times and still waiting to hear back. Update- I called at 2.55pm since I didn’t hear from them. Spoke to manager Lena who confirmed they will give me a full refund. It will take 3-5 business days. I’ll update once I receive the refund.

Please check Yelp, their reviews on Thumbtack were decent so I was misled but their Yelp reviews are more telling!!! Samsung ice chute door wasn't closing properly so Jason came to inspect and the awful experience began... I had told him that a spring fell out of the freezer and I had looked it up on YouTube but it was too difficult for me to repair. Jason quoted $220 without even really looking at the freezer and he started "working" He didn't have any cleaning products so he asked if he could use some of ours; so I let him use some of our Lysol wipes(remember this). He then disturbs me while I'm working, to ask if he could see the YouTube video I had referenced. ‍ I'm paying for an "expert" to fix my appliances. So he tinkers around some more and realizes he wants to try and swindle me so then he says he needs to fix something else but now the price is $365. He also couldn't properly fix my initial problem and I noticed that there were wires hanging from the panel he had removed. He initially tried to jam them back up with a screwdriver and then once he realized that wouldn't work, actually took the panel off to conceal the wires. On their Yelp and Thumbtack page it says they accept Military discount which is usually 15%. He refused to accept the military discount and said he would take only $10 off. 15% of $365 would be over $50 bucks!! It's ironic as hell that his picture on the Yelp page is in front of an American flag because he sure as hell doesn't respect the military. I then say I'm going to call his company to ask if they can approve the 15% off and he argues with me a bit but I eventually call them and speak to Mary on the phone. She says she would need to speak to a manager to get it approved and puts me on hold. A few minutes later she says the 15% off is MANAGER APPROVED so i tell Jason then he makes a scowl. He is furious and calls them back and speaking loudly and angrily in Russian I believe, probably talking crap about me. After shouting on the phone for a while in Russian he gets off and says he can't do the 15% off and he gives me a sob story that he is a contractor and he simply cannot do the job for $300 still. Plus my mind is still boggled how anyone can deny their Manager Approved amount. I didn't fall for his story and told him that I would pay him for his service fee and that's it. I had misread on their page that if you book online then it's $10 off but it's only if you decide to use them for repair. When I said that to him he was furious and said "what's $10 to you?!" So rude and none of your business. He then left a huge mound of Lysol wipes on my counter for me to pick up. I paid the $70 fee and he left and then I got a call back from Mary asking if I would take $25 off. I politely declined as I told her that this experience was awful and I would look into a different repair service. Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are scammers and have awful customer service. I told them they need to take off their info that says they accept military discount as well, but it is still there. Zero respect to military and I also don't believe he really would have been able to fix the problem.
