My experience so far has been great! Matt seems to "get me" and has taught me to be confident in myself and I truly look forward to our sessions three times a week. Initially my goals were to lose weight, build muscle and to generally feel better about me. The results in a relatively short amount of time are better than imagined. By following his recommended eating list (which is not a diet, but a change in making better food choices) teamed up with exercise, physical changes are coming to fruition. Even better are the internal changes which are perhaps more important. My blood pressure readings are the best they have been in years and I know my cardiologist will be happy with the results as well. He individualizes a program that's right for you, challenges you and most importantly BELIEVES in you and your success! I highly recommend to anyone to hire Matt! So you want to know how good of a trainer Matt is. He is hands down the best one I have ever used. He listens to my goals and incorporates them into his professional plan. His sessions have really improved my bodys tone, strength, and balance over the last few months. His expert knowledge of nutrition and weight training isn't the only reason I continue to work with him. He is fully focused on me during our sessions and is very good at teaching me the right methods of weight lifting and how far I can push myself (further than I thought!). I am in my 60s and have seen Matt work with people of all ages. I have never recommended my trainers in the past to anyone else. I recommend Matt without reservation. Try him once and youll see what I mean.
As someone starting out at over 700 pounds and with a ton of challenges, I have seen significant progress in weight loss, my mobility and energy levels in just the first five weeks working with Gregory. I am already starting my second round of sessions and look forward to achieving my next set of goals. I appreciate Gregory’s big picture approach, considering all my needs, not just the exercise. We discuss food, lifestyle, habits etc. He’s also been incredibly flexible with schedule changes and unfortunate things that have occurred for me in our short time together. I feel really hopeful for the first time in a long time, and couldn’t be happier with my results so far. I started training with Carolyn Lyons 3 weeks ago and let me tell you I am seeing results. She is helping me loose weight and also toning up I have lost 5lbs and continue losing. She is also helping me watch more of what I am eating.
Owners and trainers Andrea and Brian are excellent trainers. Both are knowledgable, attentive and encouraging with their clients. The comfortable relaxed environment they create in the gym actually makes exercising fun. The other trainers working in the gym appear to be equally relaxed and capable. All in all, I highly recommend O'Neil Fitness to my friends who ask.
Karen is really gentle in spirit and will work with you exactly at whatever skill level you are. And believe me I was mush. She worked with me to exercise so that I would build my core, my endurance, lose weight but not hurt myself. She is so positive and really makes you feel that you CAN do this. Even if it seems impossible. She encouraged me every chance she got. If you are looking for positivity instead of a drill sergeant Karen is the woman for you. You will LOVE her. She provides excellent information and can even help you create a plan to eat right. Because of Karen I spent several months working on my core and balance. Then I started training and have lost over 80 lbs in the last 4 months. My A1C has gone down from 12 to 7.5 in the time I have had Karen working out with me.
Eddie is amazing. I have been working with him and have seen incredible results. He is clearly invested in my success and provides great motivation, accountability, and variety in our workouts. His tools and knowledge for diet, exercise and lifestyle are supportive and integral to my whole body improvement. I've recently started working with Jessica and the results I have seen in such a short period of time are phenomenal! I lost 7 lbs the first week and 5 lbs the next. She really knows her stuff and continues to wow me with her dedication and expertise. Her attention to your biomechanics and form is second to none. She also takes the time to explain things to you if you don't understand and is always available for questions. Jessica even does charity sessions for people who are in extreme need of some health and wellness help. She has a great head on her shoulders and I trust her much more than any other trainer out there! If you are looking to lose weight or get strong, she's the best!
I've been an avid exerciser my whole life, even an athlete in school. When I turned 30 a couple of years ago, extra weight came on and I started losing my tone no matter how hard I worked out. I started working out with Dolores only to find out I wasn't getting the results I wanted because my form and technique needed improvement. I wasted so much time & money before then! Dolores is world-class. I've learned so much about my body, movement, and nutrition from her. Now at 34 I look better than I did at 22!
Lindsey is very personable and knowledgeable. My main concern is to workout for weight loss and I'm fortunate enough not to have health problems. I told her i'm open to walking, yoga, and will even train in boxing but i'm not into sports or even competitive that way. Lindsey's rates are very affordable for the knowledge that she has and she will also be sending me a nutritional plan. She is creating a training program around me and customizing something to make sure I don't lose the momentum. The best part is that she comes to my house! I would recommend Lindsey to anyone I know and I have booked her to train with me once a week.
I started with true results last march with Brian as my trainer. I was 280 pounds and didn't feel "good". With hard work and encouragement from Brian. He is very knowledgeable about the equipment and how to target the different areas of the body. He also knows nutrition and the foods to eat to improve your metabolize. He nudges, but he does not push. He is a gentle person with an explosive body and brain power to match. His focus is on his clients and how to help them attain their goals. Whether it is losing weight, training for bodybuilding competition, or a beauty contest, Dane will get you there. If you follow his directions, he will help yo meet your goals.
Gage writes my programs, e-mails them to me and trains me at my gym 1X week. He consults me continually on my goals and what I am looking to achieve. "If" I listen to him, I achieve those goals. Gage is very knowledgeable on fitness, diet, and overall health. He understands the body and how it moves and is good at explaining his reasoning behind the movements he chooses for my personalized program. He is extremely motivating and realistic with his words and makes working out fun! I look forward to every training session with Gage! He is also magical with his massage therapy skills which goes hand in hand with lifting weights and working out!
I’ve been doing both 1 on 1 and group training sessions with Greg for a few years. He makes every minute of a 1 on 1 30 minute session count and I get the most out of my workout! The small group sessions are a great switch up in the routine and its fun to work with others! The workouts are always changing which keeps it fun! He motivates and pushes you to do more each time but he’s also very aware of your limitations and will modify the exercises if need be. I’ve had trainers in the past and I didn’t last long because they didn’t keep me motivated. Greg does and I look forward to his workouts!!
Liz is absolutely the best trainer I have ever worked with. She really cares about her clients and their needs! Liz will work with you outside the gym as far as making sure you are eating correctly. First starting training with her many years ago where I was able to shed a lot of weight, because of my work schedule I wasn't able to attend her classes and loss touch with her. Recently we reconnected and she has me back on track. She pays attention and genuinely cares about you and your goals!
I have been dealing with a chronic medical condition for many years which caused me to become underweight and to also lose strength. Since I started training with Patrick, my weight has come back up to what is normal for me. I have gained muscle mass and, in turn, regained my strength.
