I am writing this review for Karen Grover my former bootcamp trainer! Karen is a great person to train with because she has a great personality and knows what she is doing. The best thing I liked about training with her was the fact that she was very knowledgable in how to work those special places that I needed. She is different from other trainers in the fact that she will push you to your fullest potential without making it seem as difficult as it really is. She always gave thorough instructions or demonstrations of each workout. Karen helped me reach my goals of toning up my problem areas, losing body fat, and increasing my endurance. I started to run 5K's with ease, all because of her training. She made workouts fun, and I saw results! Kari is so amazing at what she does. She will push you and get you doing things you never thought possible. When you work with her you gain so much more than just the "physical" skills. She truly understands the struggle to be fit and healthy. I have done both her bootcamps as well as personal training and highly reccomend her!
Ryan and Jessica are wonderful trainers. They provide you with the tools, knowledge, and workouts you need to keep you encouraged and motivated. I love the variety of the workout routines, boot camps, and they encourage myself to push past my limits. My confidence and ability in performing the exercises just keeps increasing. They give you a solid foundation on nutrition and they keep it simple so you can follow and adjust the diet and still achieve your weight loss goals. They even have services available where they will assist you with grocery shopping and cooking healthy meals. They have small group training classes and bootcamp style classes (strength conditioning or metabolic). They also make the classes fun and everyone encourages one another on. I recommend Flex Fitness to anyone who wants to get in shape, lose weight, gain confidence, and build muscle and endurance. It will be the hardest but best & most fun training session of your life.
I have had worked on and off previously with Paige while I had another personal trainer and did mainly boot camp classes with her. However, I finally made a permanent switch and have never been happier! I chose to switch to Paige for numerous reasons. While a bootcamp member she always took the time between classes to ensure I understood the movements, asked me about my nutrition, and always followed up with me. She cared not only about me getting results, but getting results the right way. Paige takes the time to learn your goals, strengths, and weaknesses. She works with you on your nutrition, around any potential disabilities (I had a walking boot on and still got a great lower body workout), and makes the workouts fun and interesting. She has also really helped me with my nutrition. I previously had lost 110 lbs and created some unhealthy views about nutrition and my world revolved around my one cheat meal a week and I would feel guilty and workout crazy afterwards. Paige really took the time to explain how food works for the body in terms of working out, eating in moderation, and generally changing my habits for the good.
John is the best personal trainer I have ever worked with! I contacted John due to my enlistment in the US Navy and I wanted to get in shape for bootcamp as well as for my follow on training. From day one he worked with me with my specific goals in mind and got me in the best shape of my life. He is so knowledgeable, from nutrition, supplements and with his different exercise programs he is sure to get you in shape no matter what your goals are!
I have been training with Wood Fitness for over 2 years and love the environment and the peeps as well as the diversity in training and equipment used. Every workout/bootcamp is always new and a challenge! You won't be disappointed you chose him, but you will be sore!
I've been working out with Kristen at Balanced Body Bootcamp for over 6 months now and I absolutely LOVE it!! Kristen will push you to do things you never thought you could. She cares about her clients and wants them to be successful. I would highly recommend her and her bootcamp!!
I came across Pulse Fitness through a group coupon website. This was one of about 7 other bootcamp deals I purchased. Pulse Fitness was the second gym I cashed in I knew, after day one of bootcamp, I would not be cashing in any other vouchers. This was it. By far the most physically and mentally challenging workouts, I knew I was going to get results if I stuck to the program Pulse Fitness helped me with. Though the coupon covered a 6 week membership, I signed up within my first 4 weeks, including enhancing my experience with personal training sessions. Over the next 6 weeks, I dropped 12 pounds and 13 inches overall. As I watched my body transform, I knew I had found the right gym. I attend bootcamp 3xs a week, and train with one of their amazing trainers 2xs a week. EVERY single workout is a challenge. But, what is so amazing about it, is when I hear what incredible exercise the trainers want me to complete, I used think, this is absolutely impossible . But, after just one time of pushing yourself beyond your limits, you quickly learn, you can do anything. By far, the most incredible transformation that Pulse Fitness helped me accomplish was exactly that I can do anything. The staff at Pulse Fitness are all very knowledgeable and specialize in both different and similar aspects of health and wellness. This has allowed me to build a mini-network of fitness experts which helps expedite my results. My network expands when we start talking about the members . where have you ever read a review on a gym that talks about the other members? A great group of people! There to achieve the same goals you are, they show up every day, help hold you accountable, if even they dont know they are, and really help create a team feeling during bootcamps. No man left behind applies. Ive watched time after time someone being done with their routine, go back to the others to run that last lap. What a great gym. Im so very excited that I found this place. Its the easiest commitment for me, because it doesnt even feel like work. Pulse Fitness is a constant evolving, forward thinking gym that clearly has me as a client for life!
Wow, where do I start! I was one who never thought I would enjoy a bootcamp, so I've paid for individual sessions in the past through different trainers over the years. This group is so inspiring and we keep each other motivated. I must say that after being referred to Maiyah by my physical therapist after surgery, I decided to contact her. From the beginning Maiyah has been able to develop a training and nutrition plan that was specific to my individual needs. I'm getting so many compliments from family, friends and acquaintances who want to know what I'm doing to get in such great physical shape in such a short period of time. Maiyah is hands down the absolute BEST trainer I've ever had and I am grateful to this universe for bringing her into my life. I only see things getting better!
Lisa's bootcamp for women is the best exercise and fitness program I have ever been involved with. It is like personal training with a group of friends with which to share the experience. Every day is different--you never know how you will be challenged. It is a fabulous way to start the day!
Doug is an excellent personal trainer and very personable! I trained with him 2-3 times a week and on Saturday mornings at the bootcamp class. He worked with my schedule to fit sessions in. He also gave me different options to work with my diet and researched options since I am a vegetarian. He also gave me exercises and tips that I could do at home or while at the gym by myself. Doug would check in with me on off days and pushed me hard to get ready for my wedding!
This bootcamp is so much fun! I have tried 2 other Bootcamps in Chandler that I guess I can't name but at first glance they seemed professional and after just one class it turned out the instructors were not professional or even engaged in the class. Impact Instructors are pretty awesome and are enthusiastic during class. It really helps to pump you up and push harder. I've been coming for the last month and I just recently signed as a member for a few months because want to lose 5 lbs before my vacation next month. I usually come 3-4 times a week and have actually lose 4% of body fat since I've been coming. Also they do these body fat challenges which are really fun and you can actually win decent prizes. If you want a fun bootcamp and a good price try them out! Look for me if you come I always like making new friends ;o)
I attended a Holiday Bootcamp Jerame put on over Christmas and all I can say is WOW! I was sweating and breathing hard and def made me look in the mirror at what I thought was in shape! But at the same time, I felt good and wanted more after that hour! Jerame is very motivating and pushes me past my limits! I am not the type of person who will keep going with someone yelling at me but Jerame knows just the right words to say to get me over that hump of to quit or not to quit! I have a goal and I know for sure he will get me there for sure!
Marty's bootcamp is the best in the Valley. He pushes you to exceed your goals and expectations. This guy is super motivating!!!!!
Kelli is such an awesome trainer and even better person! She has a wealth of health & fitness knowledge. Kelli's ability to run a large Bootcamp class while modifying the workouts based on individual levels takes experience, patience and above all focus. Kelli takes the time to get to know her clients in order to understand each of our specific goals for the class. Since starting with Kelli I have seen huge improvements in my overall physical abilities as well as a strengthened mental toughness. Kelli makes each class different and engaging to keep it fresh. We all feel like we are part of something bigger and motivate each other to reach the next level in our fitness journeys.
I think Mitch did an outstanding job with his training! I took a bootcamp with him being the coach, as well as a TRX class of his. He always pushed things to the next level, making me push myself even harder. I felt encouraged after each class to keep coming back; I always looked forward to his classes!
When I came to Danielle for personal training, I was at the end of my rope. I had been dieting and exercising, but had been unsuccessful in losing weight and was in fact gaining weight as time wore on. I knew I wasnt going to be able to get on the right path to losing weight by myself, so I signed up for a Body by Dragon bootcamp. I wasnt really sure it was going to make much of a difference, as I had been trying for so long to lose weight and was beginning to think it was just not meant to happen for me. In the first week of bootcamp, Danielle taught us basics about nutrition and meal planning, and had me sweating within minutes of each workout. At the end of week one, I was shocked to find I was missing an inch from my waist and an inch from my hips! Danielle is very accommodating for physical restrictions as well. My knees have permanent structural damage from dealing with Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was five years old. Her workouts have enabled me to do deep squats and lunges without pain, which are two things I have literally NEVER been able to do before. Each week, the changes in my body, in my health, and in my mindset were, are, and continue to be obvious not just to me, but to everyone around me. I have been working with Danielle as my trainer through Dragonfit for eight months now, and have gone from a depressed and tired 207 pounds to a lean, muscular, and active 170 pounds, and keeping it off has been effortless because being healthy is now a habit. I love watching my body change and morph into what I had always dreamed it could be, and am astounded weekly with what new physical tasks I can accomplish. Danielle has created life-changing magic with Dragonfit, and her holistic approach to training, along with the amazing group of DragonFit women who have been nothing but encouraging and supportive as we reach our goals together, make it easy to stay encouraged and keep slaying your goals.
I have been going to Jamie's class for a year now and have lost 100lbs and counting, went from a 44' pant to 36', a XXL+ -a L. Its a real laid back environment to workout in, and Jamie isn't a prick he will get you into shape if your willing to follow his meal & cardio plan. It is so worth it.
I attend group training on Saturdays whenever I visit my brother in Phoenix. Not only do I get a great metabolic workout but I have fun doing it with his high energy bootcamp!
