I have been trying to teach myself to run for almost four years now. I have participated in 5Ks, obstacle runs, lots of walking, but not so much running. I always felt accomplished having finished, but also disappointed knowing that i could improve. I've tried various couch to 5k programs, but always have given up barely able to run more than a minute at a time after a month of attempting the program. I finally decided to look into working with a personal trainer, and I am so glad that I did. My sessions are always challenging, but fun and rewarding.
